05/4/2017 15:55 | Bit better now. | redartbmud
05/4/2017 13:47 | Several cases recently where I have bought, only for the stock to plunge and then recover very nicely. Hansteen(HSTN) which I built up to my largest position dropped about 4%, it's ended up being my biggest gainer for 5 years. With SKG, very worst ways, say the market plunged, long term just collect the dividends and the Company will grow over the longer term through the cycle. It's why I tend to stay away from technology, as want to be as sure as possible that a stock has a good chance of being more profitable in 5/6 years time. You can miss out on some incredible gains though, phil is a testament to incredible gains with his BT trade back in the day, moorsie also mentioned FDP recently which has has rocketed and then rocketed again. | essentialinvestor
05/4/2017 13:37 | SKG and SMDS pretty well step for step over the last four weeks. Nothing SKG specific by the look of it. Both bouncing with the market now | philanderer
05/4/2017 12:58 | Nope red, would be very surprised if that is the case fwiw, timing an exact buy point is very difficult. Unless there is news I am not factoring in. | essentialinvestor
05/4/2017 12:39 | Dropped a big clanger. Hey ho. | redartbmud
05/4/2017 11:25 | Oh my beginning to look very ugly now. | essentialinvestor

05/4/2017 10:05 | In at 2082p. | redartbmud
05/4/2017 09:54 | My worst current "performer' by some way now (. | essentialinvestor
05/4/2017 09:01 | Would be surprised if so phil, they stress the exec leaving is pursuing an opportunity outside the sector and the new appointment is a very long standing employee. Added at '87, may regret this. | essentialinvestor
05/4/2017 08:58 | Is this new appointment anything to do with the italian problem ? | philanderer
05/4/2017 08:55 | Here we go again. | essentialinvestor

04/4/2017 17:47 | Hi phil, looks like a bit of profit taking to me, got some at 21.02, just missed another few under 21. Only adding in small amounts. | essentialinvestor
04/4/2017 17:36 | Good call EI , sell off right on cue again, Still feeling the effect of this italian job ? | philanderer
04/4/2017 14:02 | Added a few at 21.08. SKG has been given to recent rapid late dat sell offs, so watching in case there may be an opportunity. | essentialinvestor
04/4/2017 09:38 | What you are also seeing perhaps is some understandable profit taking. The Dublin listed SKG share price has trebled over the last 4/5 years, and the main LSE share price is also well ahead since early November. | essentialinvestor
03/4/2017 20:30 | Good find smicker... definitely the reason for that sell-off friday. Some made a hellava good guess ;-) 'CPI launches new standard for UK’s fresh produce industry' .....UK’s corrugated firms DS Smith, Saica Pack and Smurfit Kappa have implemented the quality standard to set a standard for packaging of fruits and vegetables. | philanderer
03/4/2017 19:54 | may be the reason for weakness? | smicker
