spoole5 - my thoughts entirely. I try to think who sells when you are told the obvious - may be it is just the conspiracy theorists who were walking around the hospitals saying there was no covid?
It has been the opportunity to buy for me.

the longer term outlook is great, with recovery in elective surgery plus recent acquisitions and new innovative procedures. At around 1,500p a bid cannot be ruled out [but don't get too excited - a bid for SN has been anticipated for years]. All just IMHO - the future is uncertain. Good luck all

12toes - in my defence I did say "fairly".
I'm with spoole on this - and a maintained dividend to help short term.

Not quite sure what the market was expecting, they already previewed in the last update. Divi maintained. This is a long term growth industry, excellent buying opportunity

Was contemplating selling to fund better opportunities , delayed , shame but all is not list here, fundamentally good co and better times will return, weak position now to rebuff any bid. You never know. Suspect it may recover slightly over the day.

Yes Spoole5. Wound management will soon kick in. Loads of tumours to cut out and then the daily exercised hips need replacing.

in the uk,the govt ask the population to behave, when they should be telling them!
ie ordering them to comply!
thats the problem.

Vaccinating the oldest 20% will cut hospitalisation by 80% plus.

so hospital numbers of covid will be back to normal in 6 months!
BON CHANCE with that one!

Bought a few around there too. Hospitalisation with covid will be minimal in six months and all our hips will be over a year older since the start. Bid talk has been doing the rounds for decades so don't hold your breath on that.

Added a few more 1511p. Convinced these will be bid for one day , though have thought that for many years now.

In the money by a few pounds now with better times to come I hope ( bid would be nice) and always better than a loss. Just so hard to pick the bottom or top with shares.
