As required by Article 19 Of Regulation (EU) No. 596/2014 on market abuse, Smart Metering Systems plc (AIM: SMS.L) announces that, on 2 June 2017, Miriam Greenwood, Non-Executive Director of SMS, purchased six Ordinary Shares of one penny each ("Ordinary Shares") at a price of 538.50p per Ordinary Share pursuant to the automatic reinvestment of dividends. Following this transaction Ms Greenwood has an interest in 16,178 Ordinary Shares, representing 0.017 per cent. of the Company's issued share capital.
