23/9/2018 00:18 | my guess, any one else? 1st round Fox Disney. £16.00 Comcast £14.75 2nd Round Fox Disney. £16.00 Comcast £16.75 3rd round Fox Disney. £16.00 Comcast £17.50 My guess a couple of days ago, as above - I think that was close - considering, They both spent 100s of millions on advice!! Very Happy with my return, But Comcast still need to get the 51% to achieve their aim - Fox/Disney don't have to tender their stock. But, my opinion is this was their plan, maximise the return. 11th October is the date set for deciding to accept or not. | exon

22/9/2018 20:13 | So do we get that automatically and if so when, or do we have to wait till comcast notifies us that this is their final offer and it's unconditional and we then have to formally accept? What a pity I sold my ISA holding @ £13.57 after the first offer, hedging my bets and thinking I was being clever as it was above the then offer price. Didn't know about auctions then. I hardly dare look to see what I did with the dosh. | bouleversee

22/9/2018 13:28 | Just a few hours till it's over - I was just reading an article that quotes Crispin Odey the hedge fund manager, from June last year:"Debt is so easy to serve and so cheap they could easily be paying 1800p for sky. If you're free cash flow looks like it's going to come through at £2.5bn, which it should do within a year, what are you willing to pay for that? Well, you're willing to pay £50bn - or around 2600p a share"I'm sure we'd all be happy with anything of that order!!..... | failedqs
21/9/2018 23:33 | It is possible that the auction procedure may complete in circumstances where the revised offers which the offerors are required to announce are at the same price in cash. Or Under the normal provisions of the Code, a person other than Fox or Comcast (or any person acting in concert with either Fox or Comcast) announces a firm intention to make an offer for Sky Provisions that I suppose don't make that an automatic option! | exon
21/9/2018 21:44 | I assume share holders will then receive a formal offer to accept. | stevesold
21/9/2018 20:41 | It is expected that the increased bids (if any) lodged during the auction procedure will not be publicly announced by any of the parties other than as set out below. As soon as practicable following completion of the auction procedure on the evening of 22 September 2018, the Panel Executive will make an announcement in accordance with Rule 30.1 of the Code (which will also be published on the Panel's website). That announcement will set out the prices of the offers to be announced by each offeror following the conclusion of the auction procedure. Following the Panel Executive's announcement of the result of the auction procedure, and by no later than 7.00am (London time) on 24 September 2018, each of the offerors is required to make an appropriate announcement | exon
