22nd seems to be the make or break day. There is a stand off at the moment in this game of monopoly, both want, but don't want to overpay.

The independent board have recommended the Comcast bid of 14.75. (only because there is no higher bid as yet)

Very few, so far are willing to sell to Comcast at the offer price and as a result have extended their offer period.

With a current price of £15.50 the Market seems to be in the know and have an expectation of a higher bid, or believe a stock market auction will result after this stand off.

The online brokers have set their default decision as take no action yet.

Ditto. All advice appreciated. My memory tells me the 22nd is decision day, but can anyone flesh out scenarios? And is advice to continue to hold?

why would anyone accept 14.75 when they can get 15.34 in the market?

Comcast Corp said on Wednesday it has extended its offer for Sky PLC to September 12, having so far received valid acceptances of its offer from 0.21% of the holders of SKY after its £14.75 per share offer to obtain 61% of the broadcaster.

Lower than I personally expected, even with the open market being higher. where do they go from here?

Good news in my eyes, but That's it till then I expect.

shows how well Sky has entered the digital era, and maybe why Disney and Comcast want to buy it, to advance their own digital ambitions?

So, I gather that Sky has advised investors to take no action re 2lCFox's £14 offer but has not yet given any advice re Comcast's £14.75 offer. We are presumably waiting for Fox to come up with a higher bid. Has anyone been following their (or their associates) buys? I find those RNS forms difficult to follow.

Ok. Will probably sweat it out and hope for a better offer. I was just panicked when I saw the earlier post about Disney selling to Comcast wondering if they would then have enough and wouldn't want mine. I read in their offer something about them delisting Sky shares if they got enough which might make them impossible to sell. Can't afford to loose the lot.

Sell independently of any Sky communication in the stock market or wait.
ITS Up to you?
I actually expect this to end up over £20 but time will tell.
Can’t be less tha £14 and won’t be less than £14.75 but I expect much much more.

Disney may still come back with a higher offer, but I don't believe it will go to auction, Bob Iger likes Sky but will not overpay.

It is very possible that Disney will sell their 39% stake in Sky (acquired from 21CF) to Comcast and let them have it, big cash boost to help pay for the 21CF transaction.
