It is my belief that SBTX gets them from HMRC and issues them to the fund or broker. In our case it is a fund. I am fairly sure your broker has to request them. If I'm doubt I would email The CFO at SBTX for clarity.

Am new to eis tax relief, but HL have told me they are not issuing certificates because of covid! Have gone back to them in case of some sort of misunderstanding. Have not heard from Iweb yet.

It is the broker that issues the certificates and not sbtx?

Gary, my comments wasn't intended to be specific to Lean, it was a general comment highlighting the thought process, that's all. I'm pretty sure she would jump at the chance if it was pitched to her. It te becomes a question of money.

Gary you do know that the open offer is EIS qualified so it's tax free. That makes a huge difference. My holding is part of a wider fund and we requested the EIS certificates.

Elrico. Not sure I follow. If you take Leann rimes. She has put herself out there and that picture is her after taking whatever she does currently which I guess she is saying doesn't really work. Why would she need to stop taking what she does already to take part in the trial? It's a food additive. I would see that as a massive negative if the trials can only be done with "normal" people and not celebrities.

I didn't take up my allocation of 3000 shares because I knew there would some forward selling. I am not too concerned once the deed is complete because I expect they will be locked in. However, if Seneca are involved they may well sell more mature holding. Doubtful at this stage because we are c6+ months away (earlier for psoriasis) from both commercial products entering the market via soft launches, all IMHO based on previous podcast done with SA. IMHO D Quinn is way off his YE timeline as this fly's in the face of what SA has already told investors via not one, but to podcasts he has done with me. Both projects are AHEAD of schedule, Winclove significantly ahead. IMHO, c February for the psoriasis SBTX launch to a database of clients I am sure the company is building up for a soft launch with a home brand version.

Note this is MY timeline not confirmed by SA. I don't wish to mislead yu on this estimate.

AqaueSulis,

I usually send such info to SA, as does Mike McGeever. I am unsure how much exposure a celebrity would be acceptable to them if they need to reduce whatever other meds they may be taking. It would be fine balance as mitigation of risk would be important to their career.

I believe Mike's rugby buddy and business partner, Steve Thompson expressed an interest in taking part in the trial. I have also expressed an interest in the antiaging trail. SA says he doesn't expect miracle... 🤦‍a94;️😉

First time I have participated in a placing and Sod's law I could have bought them cheaper in the market. Why can't I have shares are the normally spivvy discount of 25% :-)

Another high profile celebrity suffering from psoriasis is Aljaz from Strictly Come Dancing. Seriously Elrico, see whether Stuart can sign up a couple of celebrity sufferers to the trial to boost the publicity.

Elrico, have a word with Stuart about signing up LeAnn to the psoriasis trial; just think of the national publicity this would bring too the company following a successful outcome!

#psoriasis is serious global issue: Who estimate over 100m people suffer from it. Possible as high as 11% of global population.

It's not reflected in the trades going through. All sells so they will be getting their fill without bidding up it seems

well the mm are bidding up and the rsp tells a story so the mm seem to want stock.

wonder why?

could the raise have been for a very good reason.....

I saw in my HL account that it was expected to be eligible for EIS, but I thought that was only for unlisted companies, or is AIM not an HMRC recognised stock exchange?

No EIS tax relief on open market purchases though

So if I have it right the open offer was undersubscribed, so if you applied for more than your entitlement you will get them. Just a shame they are slightly cheaper on the open market.
