You will notice that the last deal in Axisbiotix was signed through a newly formed company. AxisBiotix LTD https://beta.companieshouse.gov.uk/company/12276227which is wholly owned by Skinbioherapeutics plc. I think Stuart is building separate legal entities with their own brand identity to protect the top company and to allow separate strands to be sold off if needed whilst allowing the remaining business to continue and benefit from the proceeds of the sale. IMO. DYOR

Just to caveat I am not saying we should be £500m now but the opportunities for growth and different applications over the coming years should make this very achievable.

The biggest risk here for me is being taken out too cheap so maybe a spin off of different divisions alongside commercial agreements?

Say cleanbiotix does have 5 or 6 applications with a global super brand then spin that out?

The science behind it is fantastic and as trotters said they’ve been clever with the IP.

It is wholly reasonable to think a global super brand could pay £80-100m for cleanbiotix and similar for croda and skinbiotix.

Why would these global players want anybody else getting hold of this technology.

To actually fully appreciate just skinbiotix cosmetic application it is the ONLY scientifically backed anti ageing ingredient known?! I wonder if there’s already a bunfight going on behind closed doors with regards to certain elements of sbtx.

Caths statement about building a £500m company is starting to look very realistic in my opinion.

Where we at now about £17m?

Things haven’t even got started here but I suspect it’s going to get very exciting very quickly.

And then If we get a p and g rns or similar it could be very good.

Trying to get hold of any decent amount of stock is a nitemare.

It is clear SBTX has a lot further to go......I may have to buy a few more tomorrow morning. I am light on SBTX compared to OPTI although it is difficult to know which is the better short

Add to the fact in the preso in December he said they were in advanced discussions then surely we can’t be far off further news on new commercial partners.

I like the fact before they announce it seems they do a lot of leg work prior which increases the chances of commercial revenues after the deal is done rather than do a quick rns to say we are researching with a partner.

Parob offers a clue - During this interview on the 20th Nov 2019 (following the Croda deal), CEO Stuart Ashman says they could look to strike 5 deals within each of 5 segments, so up to 25 deals in total (from 14 mins, 15 secs).

I expand on this..." very large player that could potentially work with on 5 or maybe 6 separate projects as well as strong interest for MediBiotix on both advanced Woundcare (accelerated wound healing) and topical treatment of Eczema."

I.e: a very large partner has the potential to commercialise 5-6 projects. It is a change from last years project that was on the go.
