Also concerned that todays RNS had been miss interpreted I contacted SBTX and kindly had the ply from Cath which clearly explains that it was intended to be highly positive and not at all negative.
Now we end nearly 20% down after spooking some investors. Wonder what will happen now everyone knows the truth.

Hi XXXXX,

Thanks for the enquiry.

Basically, when you put a novel technology such as Skinbiotix into a cream for the very first time, it’s impossible to know how it will act. This is part of the standard development process. We’re pleased that we have activity at 24hrs (the first significant timepoint) and we’ve work in hand addressing the longer term stability requirements.

It’s probably good to remember that the cream isn’t what we’re trying to commercialise. The cream is something we’re making so we can test the efficacy of Skinbiotix. It’s the freeze dried version we’ll intentionally be commercialising so it’s a positive step that it works well in this format.

Best wishes,

Cath

Just listened to the podcast and Cath is sounding very positive and confident. Now we can freeze dry that is important as that is how our product will be shipped. They are working with an interested party from the US. Yes, there is a stability issue but not one that is insurmountable and Cath made it sound like it was just part of the process. Vital to remember we are not selling the cream but a cream is needed for the trial hence the stability testing. To be fair the trial could slip but it sounds like it would only be a matter of a few weeks if at all. They have plenty of cash in the bank. A must listen and I can see some decent buying tomorrow.

Mshilos, another troll who only signed up to ADVFN less than 3 months ago. Nothing constructive to offer and intent on deramping and trashing a growth company which, in time will provide handsome rewards for the patient long term holders.

I think you will find it won’t. The issue with the RNS has been explained and there is no issue. You believe what you want.

I agree, this share price is falling down fast , as expected , follow the RNS today, to April 2017 levels I fear ! Read earlier posts for possible reason.

I have had an email off Cath and your understanding is correct. If you are in doubt drop her an email. I am very happy with her response.

I have sold as I now feel fair value is 5p. Good luck to holders here but I feel this is only going one way.

Picked this up on OPTI thread. Does it make sense? The RNS doesn't say the cream is not stable for longer than 24 hours.  Its says they have tested it for 24 hours and they are now testing for longer in preparation for the studies.  This is all part of the development process and they are updating investors as to this process."

Why did Andrew McBain and Manchester University offload only a few weeks ago? They know the trial won't be going ahead. It's so bleating obvious!!! Why sell just before the trial if you are anticipating it will be successful???

SBTX going below 20 p today and lower in the comings for reasons I explained in an earlier post below. In addition OPTI is now below £1 ...reason is as below :

There is HUGE positive sentiment for OPTI and share price has soared recently on the back of this , but nothing more, no profit no HUGE contracts to report, no major news, etc, and NO PROFITS to report. They do have MASSIVE potential, if their LT plans are executed according to plan and they do have a great Founder/CEO. However, as a LT holder myself, since 27p I would expect the share price to fall to the 50-60 p levels before 2019 BUT to climb to over £2 in the next 2 years , if we keep moving in the right direction. It is only sentiment that is driven this share price at present, not profit, as there is no profit.IMO DYOR.

let's accept different views here and debate sensibly or this thread will go down the pan like OPTI's

"The progress we've made so far in manufacturing and freeze-drying the lysate is very encouraging. The current formulation is undergoing EXTENDED stability studies in preparation for the human study."

It can be viewed as not reaching desired target hence having to extend.
This may or may not lead to a delay but without doubt at the very least, this is getting far too close to scheduled trial.

It may be nothing but the RNS has left some doubt that was not there before.

Time will tell either way.

DROPPING TO SUB 19 p, here comes the drop ...reason is , it is fact that no trials can commence, without a stable formulation to apply on the clinical trial volunteers. It is simple, look up clinical trial regulations, they would be breaking the law. There will be another RNS before SEPT to announce the delay in the trial start date , unless, miraculously, they reformulate the compound to arrive at a stable formulation, beyond the current 24hrs. I hate to be a prophet of doom ( as I am both an OPTI and SBTX long term holder), but I expect the share price to fall even more than it has today, bacK well under 19p in IMHO and DYOR.

Spot on toyin. I'm not sure why people can't understand that.
The cream is being manufactuated purely for the trials. The freeze-drying is for long shelf life and transport to the manufacturers of the end product.

Btw, the latest troll went on the filter at post number 3!
