14/5/2018 07:13 | More evidence that their eczema cream has solid science behind it. | deeppockets
11/5/2018 09:22 | Nice start to the day as the share price is rising, Buying now at 15.98p. | bobalot
10/5/2018 19:31 | Added a few more here today sub 15.5p for the move to 20p. | matt123d
10/5/2018 18:35 | Looks to me like it's broken out of its rising channel, history suggests a retrace back to sub-12p. | rathean
10/5/2018 16:42 | Providing it holds around 15p yes robo .. using your analogy ... the big drop is due to the enormous rise of late all healthy over the mid to longer term. | onedayrodders
10/5/2018 16:31 | Isn't it just a standard Pullback like we had on the run up to this point? John | 2350220
10/5/2018 13:54 | Some people have sold here to buy OPTI which broke out a few days ago...so this drop in the share price is likely to be a temporary retrace which could rebound like is has on numerous occasions. | bobalot
10/5/2018 13:36 | Why the big drop anyone?? | robo28
10/5/2018 11:30 | Good post toad | onedayrodders
10/5/2018 10:42 | Also, as Cath says it's a huge market and room for competitors. Look at colds - Day/Night nurse, Lemsip etc etc, all using the same basic ingredients, so all we need is a product that does what it says and is a substitute for steroid cream etc. I'm adding here and Opit whenever I can. | deeppockets
10/5/2018 09:31 | Thanks ODR. And of course there is one key difference between the approach used by uni of California ca SBTX. Uni of California uses live bacteria. Good to see this works for eczema. We know it works for cosmetics too (Gallinee). SBTX uses lysates. That is extracts of dead bacteria. Cath believes that lysates offer advantages. It is envisaged that lysates might be more stable and have longer shelf life, and easier to store for use as a medicine or a cosmetic. I believe SBTX has the patent protection on use of 'lysates' in these applications. For anyone else they can use any strain of live bacteria that they find has a probiotic effect on the skin - cf old wives tails of using live yoghurt. But I believe only SBTX can use lysates. | toadhall1
10/5/2018 08:45 | After the cosmetic cream has been finalised the next big market hitter will be the medical gel as the best alternative to alcohol based hand cleaners --- that will be another global mass market for SkinBio. | bobalot
09/5/2018 15:45 | Hi all Following the article posted here yesterday about a separate Eczema microbiome treatment, I reached out to Cath to see if they had any concerns. She kindly gave her permission to post here .. "Thanks for your enquiry about the eczema programme. There are a couple of companies also looking at microbiome-based therapies for eczema. I’m not worried about this. Eczema isn’t one single disease. I look at it a bit like blood pressure treatment – there are lots of treatments for blood pressure and so if one doesn’t work for you, there are alternatives. I suspect we’ll find that the eczema field may be similar so my belief is that there is plenty of room for lots of approaches to treatment. After all, its an absolutely huge market! Best wishes, Cath" | onedayrodders
09/5/2018 10:21 | SkinBio's latest tweet...the future for microbiome skin care products looks great. #microbiome at in-cosmetics Global: “advances in the microbiome science have the potential to shake up the entire skin care industry, expected to grow globally at a CAGR of 6% in value terms between 2016 and 2021” | bobalot
09/5/2018 10:04 | The share price broke the upper resistance so it retraced which is normal...now it should continue in the upward channel after bouncing off the lower support. At lease the share price dropped because the mm''s need the stock, only about 50 Million are in circulation making it a fairly tightly held stock. Really interesting price action today imo. | bobalot
09/5/2018 09:57 | Flushing a few sellers out today .. natural | onedayrodders
08/5/2018 18:19 | I'm pretty sure SkinBio have EU/UK patents on all there IP so if the Uni of California have done some complimenting research and proved it cures or helps eczema sufferers so much the better imo. | bobalot
08/5/2018 17:45 | The inaugural CosmeticsDesign Summit focuses on skin microbiome innovation08-May-201 | parob
08/5/2018 16:33 | Sounds like we have a competitor but more proof that the science is proven. | deeppockets
08/5/2018 16:15 | ODR, agreed but certainly not complaining - and Opti benfitting too! | deeppockets
08/5/2018 16:14 | News emerging on Twitter: Beneficial bacteria altering the skin microbiome promises new eczema therapy … via @nwtls MORE NEWS FLOW COMING OUR WAY imo. | bobalot
08/5/2018 16:06 | hmnn ... wonder if there is more to this .. with trials some way off it's making it's move much earlier than I anticipated. Not complaining though ;O) | onedayrodders
08/5/2018 15:55 | Buying now at 17.14p....becoming a regular riser. | bobalot
08/5/2018 15:18 | It's blue sky above 17.5p so a run to 22p may happen over the coming week or so imo. | bobalot |
