Thanks HT. My question though, presumably it won't include a farm-in element, just provision of services.

vat... the package is being offered as an FTSA....which, like the SRSP/Owena/Guarantee P J/V may (but not necessarily) entail a union of more than one partner, of which srsp could possibly be one. If this is the case then one can understand the time taken for the FTSA to reach a consensus with each partner seeking to maximise his interest with respect to input. (srsp had to change their Owena/Guarantee FTSA three times...implying that it's a complicated process) In my opinion, srsp will need to apply as a part of a group to have any chance.

Does anyone know, will the OML 119 contract be offering a farm-in % share of the field, or will it just be a straight contract to provide operational services?

Ad Doc was Nov 2017. 3 years should be sufficient time to package the acquisitions. Acc to JC, Barak`s money for working capital has been put on hold. Loan repayment schedule also deferred. They are clearly hoping, and expecting, that Sirius will deliver by late summer. First oil, presumably 114, should have triggered further events, leading to relist. Whether they are partnering an indigenous entity in the current bid round remains to be seen, but why bother with 10mmb tiddler marginals up for grabs if they are going for whole blocks such as 119?

Not suggesting any link with sirius but an interesting company.
Taleveras energy.
Shows there is still a huge market for oil and gas.

Some weekend reading. Rather long winded. Explains the legalities of The Operation Of Marginal Fields In Nigeria. Stamina needed to read it all.

I found an interesting article on the website.....that may justify Owena's claim against the ororo revocation.

(extract)
'In 1996, the Federal Government of Nigeria backed the Petroleum (Amendment) Decree Act no. 23, under which marginal fields in OML licenses that were left unproduced for at least 10 years are required to be farmed-out to indigenous E&P companies......

.
Sirius Petroleum have signed agreements with indigenous companies to work towards this goal.' (end of quote).

Presumably 'Sirius Taglient' covers this requirement.

SECTOR INTEREST. Premier Oil (PMO) will go back to the market for another $300m (£227m) in order to get a life-or-death debt refinancing across the line. As it stands, the entirety of the oil and gas producer’s borrowings are due in May next year.

Serica SQZ did pretty well on picking up BKR assets. Similarly, Sirius in on Chevron divests?
