14/8/2018 12:54 | He didn't say it was good, he said that it 'doesn't look negative', Toxic. | handygandhi
14/8/2018 12:40 | Only Cautious Sidney the nerd thinks a buy at full ask is good when the price is 24 percent lower than it was a month ago. Well done mate, this fella is a genius. | xerot
14/8/2018 11:55 | Bumhammer, filtered for being a complete and utter waste of space who contributes less than zilch. And don't bother grovelling to me with your pathetic pm's!Good riddance. | astralvision
14/8/2018 11:37 | Looks a good time to pick up stock, sentiment low and, potentially, relatively near term action. Looking at the trades i'm not the only one to think that. | astralvision
14/8/2018 11:30 | HT - I beg to differ and feel there’s much to ensure a savvy investor would part with their money here. Perhaps less so if you only view Sirius as a one-asset tiny driller that’s struggling... more so if you correctly view the Company through the prism of a potentially very significant entity working collaboratively with world-class partners to secure assets, fund and monetise gas by way of a large semi-integrated 25 year+ upstream/midstream project worth many $billions. “The potential to exploit gas in addition to the oil revenue has generated interest from international oil and gas companies...” (22/4/16) Secrecy, delays and sensitivity of info published via the consortium make much more sense in the context of the latter rather than former. | sherl0ck
14/8/2018 11:26 | Why do you think that 1alfi? | sherl0ck
14/8/2018 11:15 | Assured of no imminent placing. I wonder what the early agm was all about, in particular the authorisation of a further 1.7bn shares for issue. | dr rosso
14/8/2018 11:13 | Sherl0ck - "ETA: Happy B-day BP... it’s 12 months to the day that we signed up BP to the consortium. " I would be surprised to see BP offtaking any oil from Sirius and if they did offtake any would it be an indication that plan A had failed. ? RNS 12/6/2017 - "Trading on AIM for the under-mentioned securities has been temporarily suspended from 12/06/2017 11:35am, pending an announcement." I wonder what announcement Sirius intended to make ? | 1alfi
14/8/2018 10:56 | Imminent boom on the way hopefully. | aventador
14/8/2018 10:53 | cautioussid..... There are many, many, safer investments to put money into as opposed to this company. There's nothing positive on this thread that would induce someone to invest £15k into srsp...which begs the question...does he/she/ know something? | htrocka2
14/8/2018 10:42 | Two million at full ask doesn't look negative to me | cautioussid
14/8/2018 10:12 | Finally coming to the conclusion that nothing I post is ever going to change the outcome here ,perhaps it's time to let the board get on with whatever is taking so long.Frustrating as it is the time this has taken suggests it's much larger then any of us suspected. The enormity of the technical knowledge and expertise associated with this company is way beyond my understanding .Expecting a positive outcome but who can say when ...keeping the faith .Bron. | bronislav
14/8/2018 09:09 | Party hats on, celebrations. No rig and a halved share price Well done guys. High 5s all round, which is what the share price is going to be unless some meaningful update is given. | dr rosso
14/8/2018 09:08 | An old article that gives a hint as to why the IOC's need to know what's in the PIB (and if SRSP are to construct a fiscal policy regarding income from hydrocarbon production...they'll need to know as well.) The PIGB is a double edged sword.(let's just hope they don't alter the tax 'holiday' for Marginal Fields) | htrocka2
14/8/2018 08:18 | The following is from the Golar 1st Qr 2018 Results Earnings Call Q&A (context being that Golar’s JV partner Schlumberger pulled out of Ophir’s Fortuna FLNG project due in part to the financing issues. However, Golar are forging ahead with a very similar FLNG solution for BP/Kosmos) Morgan Stanley Analyst: “I’m trying to understand if the FLNG projects need, going forward, a large E&P partner, an oil major similar to what Perenco did to guarantee the economics of the project..... And regarding... the financing difficulty that this project has faced (Fortuna)....Is it a country risk? Is it the balance sheet behind it’s projects? The projects can get financing when you have BP, but it’s more difficult when you have smaller companies?” Graham Robjohns (Golar CFO) “reference the ease of financing and whether a large credit-worthy counterparty is required..... country political risk is certainly a factor in these projects. Complexity of the structure is certainly a factor.... And then of course, the counterparties involved are also important. So if it’s a tolling agreement, then obviously having BP as a counterparty is pretty helpful in terms of financing.” ETA: Happy B-day BP... it’s 12 months to the day that we signed up BP to the consortium. Who’d have imagined that a year later the share price would have nearly halved and a rig still hasn’t moved an inch closer to Ororo! | sherl0ck
14/8/2018 08:02 | Please don't use foul language Astral, it doesn't become you.Have a nice day | bumhammer
14/8/2018 07:59 | If David Icke is so good at making things up, maybe he should be the next member of the BoD. He would fit it in well. | openfield68
