17/1/2018 09:41 | Ref kwizza....... That had also crossed my mind. Why the extra expense in obtaining specific well heads that have the ability to cope with cement plugs....unless a re-entry of ORORO 1 is a possible consideration that's been contemplated? | htrocka2
17/1/2018 09:34 | Reminds me of the war when everybody peered over the wall asking 'where is Chad' | solarno lopez
17/1/2018 09:27 | Who is AV??? | carrbradshaw
17/1/2018 09:18 | Being lazy here, was anything said about re-entering Ororo 1, as it has already flowed at 2700 bopd | kwizza
17/1/2018 07:50 | detective rosso its got a better ring to it then dr rosso keep up the good work | deadly nightshade
17/1/2018 07:27 | Hi 1Sonic would you care to share Mr AV's identity? | stu1210
17/1/2018 07:16 | i am with dr rosso's theory on this one, if you look at the bod it does look very lightweight and he has a point about that 40% interest. you still get the feeling something is still on going behind the scene's and i won't be holding my breath on this rig moving by the end of the month. | deadly nightshade
17/1/2018 00:11 | Has anyone heard of Mike Adenuga, a Nigerian billionaire? I just wondered if he might be one of the rich Nigerians that has some participation in Sirius and/or Ororo. He's the chairman of Conoil. | vatnabrekk
16/1/2018 23:42 | Targeting 200k bopd from multiple assets. With due respect, way beyond capabilities of current incumbents | dr rosso
16/1/2018 23:31 | Pretty obvious who AV is Equally obvious is that Partner 4 is waiting in the wings once everything is set up and ready to go. See why Sirius has not been allocated that 40% working interest, but rather is is held in trust. Sort the well permit approvals then step aside for a real O&G Co to move in. It did seem most odd that the Havoc ppl, Lyon, never took seats on the Board | dr rosso
16/1/2018 23:23 | Smell the coffee time. 40% continues to be held in trust by GP. Why? Rig contract not only lacks clarity but also has confidentiality clause. Something tells me that Sirius role, as from the very beginning, has been to set everything up for an incoming mid-tier, somebody already producing in Nigeria offshore waters. Ex-Crosby team of Fletcher-Kejriwal-Ju Who will the rig contract be passed over to? Does Sirius itself get taken out or is it a sell-off of the first asset? This is no straightforward case of junior with its BoD of O&G production rookies finding itself heading up a world class consortium. Got to be a reason for the continued cloak and dagger stuff? I suspect Partner 4 moves the rig. But who is it? | dr rosso
16/1/2018 23:21 | Dr RossoWell, I'm sorry if I make you feel uneasy, but, having said that I won't lose any sleep over it. Regarding the GM, I was there and faithfully reported what was said. Anyone else who attended would say the same.Regarding point 8 specifically, they didn't say anything at the GM wrt that that was not in the AD. I refer you to page 20 in the AD:'The drilling rig is proposed to be mobilised to the Ororo Field in order to begin drilling the Ororo 2 well in March 2018, which will be drilled in a location close to Ororo 1'Note it is a proposal, an intention if you like. I know you don't like proposals but these things don't come with cast iron guarantees. My opinion, fwiw, is they will meet the March time line. However, even if they didn't, unlike some, I wouldn't be over concerned if there were valid reasons. This is the O&G business, Something that doesn't always run to timetables. O&G investors know that.Regarding the second point in point 8, well, what do you know, it's also in the AD, page 23:'.....with rig mobilisation expected approximately within one month from Admission ....'Guess you won't like the 'expected' word either. If that's not good enough for you suggest you attend the next GM yourself, take your own notes and ask your own questions.Make a change from whingeing off like a big baby. | astralvision
16/1/2018 22:51 | Dr Rosso - it’s all About two letters! Mr AV = you work it out! I worked it out a while back. | 1sonic
16/1/2018 22:29 | astralvision - 19 Dec 2017 - 01:46:21 - 73028 of 73688 SIRIUS PETROLEUM - CASHED UP AND READY TO ROLL - SRSP Bullet points from today’s meeting: 1. Today is the culmination of a lot of hard work and will be transformational for the company. 2. Building blocks now in place to build a substantial business. 3. SRSP will look to replicate the Ororo field with the same consortium on other assets. 4. Well placed for other assets from upcoming marginal round and divestments from majors. In active discussions. 5. Expect near term asset news. 6. Entering a period of operational and company building news flow. 7. All systems go for drilling Ororo2, action has already started. 8. Rig set to mobilise next month and Ororo2 will spud in March. 9. Potential Ororo2 upside from drilling the deeper sands below reservoir G. 10. Company currently employs c.20 people and this will increase as operations expand. Can't quite put my finger on it, but there's something about Mr AV which makes me a bit uneasy. Anyway I thank him for the above points summarising GM. Let's keep our eye on No. 8. Eleven trading days left for the rig announcement, at which point I'll happily retract any previous scepticism. Counting .... | dr rosso
