Great news for the tunnel. Hopefully there will be a lift in sp, perhaps thanks to excellent PR and spinaroonies? Probably end up in the red though. Just my opinion as always. GL tomorrow

As a kindness from the co, for shorters there may be a small window of opportunity to off load at a price still a reasonable degree below the fair value pricing that this will rapidly be re-rated to as the astonishing success the BoD have pulled off and the now far more clear road ahead becomes broadly understood, as the news sinks in.

Sirius is run by Chris Fraser, a former banker who helped to finance some of Australia's largest iron ore mining projects.

The new equity he is raising this week will help to fund higher-than-expected tunnelling costs.

The news leaked by Sky News a few moments ago is in relation to a £400m rights issue, (at a price undisclosed in the report) which is intended to be used for the under budgeted tunnelling blunder announced last year. Whilst the article refers to news of further funding (£3bn) this is unlikely to be included in the leaked RNS tomorrow.
