Once it gets the second stage finance in the fourth quarter 60-75 pence ( "estimated net present value of 110 pence" )

I agree 45-50p by year end, however I suspect a surge above that level between now and then.

My NY desk tells me that this is now good enough for the bankers and solicitors to get going and produce the last stage of financing documents. Debt and warrents but what % who knows.............now that can be debated if we were given the figures but alas no.

Banks and Pension funds will want a piece of this debt deal so we will have to wait until September for more news.

From 45p to 50p by year end is my forecast as well as stopping all those silly posters who can't get their heads around how simple this final financing will be when the world wants and needs the stuff from SXX.

Enough said............

From Questor at the Sunday Telegraph

Questor says "Production costs are predicted to be roughly $40 a ton and some long-term supply arrangements have been struck at $145 a ton, illustrating the profit potential. Sirius has already won pre-approval from the UK Guarantee Scheme , a government programme that supports infrastructure projects. As the biggest Northern Powerhouse investment, you imagine that politically there would be no problem here. As with all new mining projects, risk remains and the numbers are liable to move around. But Sirius is developing a good track record. The shares still trade at a sharp discount to their estimated net present value of 110 pence This represents an opportunity to dig in.."

Recent advance is nothing more than normal trading activity. 35p has been a top value peak for the masses of traders. When sellers at 35p was outstripped by buyers at that price then it broke the pseudo resistance. A breakthrough of a long term resistance then usually has the opposite effect in that the masses who trade this stock regularly will see it as a bottom and then the price rallies. The trick is predicting the next resistance and I would suggest watching other indicators (short term moving averages and RSI to decide when the surge has blown out)

Say for example no dilution for stg 2 financing and no hick ups to production. What do you think the share price could be?

GM all,

I've been scratching my head trying to figure out the rationale for this recent move up. Agree that this morning's RNS was a little bit of a non-event, though it is encouraging nonetheless.

I re-listened to Staley's call from 6th March of this year. For the stage 2 progress part he said "we'll also seek to capitalise on a lot of the hard work that was done in 2017 and put another 2mt of supply agreements in place. We think that around 6m to 7m tonnes is the right level for our stage 2 financing (etc etc)..."

I'm beginning to think that sirius might actually have sufficient offtakes in place. We have 5.75mt (or is it 5.7mt, can t remember) - but it's "around 6mt" by my reckoning.

Perhaps I am over thinking this, but I'm beginning to think this movement might be more to do with the RNS from 20th July. Must also remember we are well within our expected range dictated by our CB holders. But very positive and very pleasing to see.

Hi GBI don't see anything wrong with two way trade between customers and supplier, nor do I see it as non competitive. The binder price has to be right otherwise the final price, if not competitive, will affect AM also.

This is a grade A pump RNS. Announcing someone you had a deal with has convinced you to buy their product in what looks like a related party deal and very anti competitive. The business of building a plant in UK, perhaps, maybe, is a sop to those who will observe that this deal with the yanks is a sales opportunity lost for British and European manufacturers of binders.
