The quicker TOSCA start shouting the better. Everyone has been very patient to date.

Good time to be buying in then IMO .Sinclar has streamlined its product range since then, more focused on the cosmetic/ dermatology sector, good growth, high profit margin,if the numbers are good in next months trading update this will take off.GLA

The shares are not at a level last seen in 2009.The all time low is around 14.5p in that same year.

Steeple, how right you are! Hopefully Tosca will insist on some businessmen on the board who can make this rock n' roll. All the potential is there.

mfhmfh, Peel Hunt rhymes with....?

Yes,I agree,This is a good quality shareholders list with good investment track records.I think that unless things really start to show a meaningful improvement, there's going to be a real change of attitude.Tosca will put the cat amongst the pigeons and get the company sold, new management installed. Its been going on too long. The Numis 22p target is much more interesting than Peel Hunt tweaking their numbers.

Mmm well Peel Hunt re-iterated SPH at 68p on 15/1 and then 3 days later they slashed their target to 48p

Meanwhile Numis's price target is 22p.

So you pays your money and takes your choise.

Even if they do crack a deal, isn't it going to take time to build up sales

I'm beginning to wonder if Tosca, Soros et al are not getting a bit uncomfortable under the collar here!

Tosca bought again today they are back upto 29%, 1% and they could make an offer do not think they will though. Feel that something happening behind the scene IMHO.

Maybe they are, just takes one rns & the whole outlook can change, I guess it’s still quite a new product/ market so it takes time

"good market to be in" - YES!
"So the potential is definitely there" - YES!
So why don't they crack on and grab the opportunity while it lasts???

Welcome aboard pazzuzu, this is a good level to get in,IMO it might be worth your time to research the product, silhouette thread lift is the main one, youtube. I reckon it’s a good market to be in,a global one, I watched a documentary on the bbc about the Korean cosmetic market & how popular it is so the potential is definitely there, good luck.DYOR

Mmm given the low share price no one has come in with a bid even though Sinclair shareholders of recent years are familiar with takeover talk which somehow never seems to amount to much.

Keep expectations modest imho. More marketing required and that means more costs.

They sold a pile at a higher price and now they are buying back. Can't knock 'em for making money and it bodes at bit better for a good deal on US distribution. I'm now wandering if Tosca really are starting to pull some strings!

Hopefully we may see a 'strengthening' of the board to a more marketing orientated line up. If so SPH could start to fly!

It would seem that the Schroder shares were picked up by Tosca, very interesting that they are increasing again should keep the share price moving North IMHO

Nice to see that the share price moved up today even with the Schroder announcement. IMHO all is ok, just waiting news announcements i.e. distribution partnership + good results.

It would be interesting to know if Tosca are now throwing their weight around as per their reputation, re distributorship in the US for starters.

My understanding is once below 5% any further reductions don’t have to be reported or that may just apply to short positions

Clarification - In the process of baling out!

Q. Do they have to make any further announcements on shareholding when they have less than 5%?

The RNS said they have gone below 5% to call it a bailout is a incorrect. If they had sold their interest in SPH they would have had to say just that in the RSN statement.

Completely or did they just reduce? I can never follow those rns, long as the CEO Spooner is still holding his 10 million shares I’m sitting tight
