Agree Uksmouth was a bad business decision given their green credentials. They should have stuck to the stuff they know best - tidal energy

Here's what it says on the SAE website re. emissions etc..



They were going to partner with a company called Remediiate to produce algae from the waste emissions, claiming it could make Uskmouth carbon neutral by 2025 and carbon negative by 2030.
Whether that partnership is still ongoing I'm not sure, given what's happened between then and now.

Do we have accurate emotions date on what is would throw out, v coal v plastic waste consumption, there has to be a minimal 5 year licence agreement to reduce plastic waste, generate electricity v turning off the last coal plant

A typical house with c. 2.5kW solar panel is about net balanced.. so 350MW would service around 150,000 houses, although not at peak load. (Would certainly keep Newport going..)
