26/8/2021 10:09 | It all sounds extremely promising and they've delivered so far so confident that it will continue ! gla | andyview
26/8/2021 09:56 | Having listened to the q&a session a couple of points stood out: - the acquisition of Nordalk brings with it an "extensive pipeline" of potential acquisitions, some strategic, others based on acquiring reserves. Also the deal brings additional people skilled in assessing the merits of these deals. SRC expect to continue to acquire but will be "choosy" not buying anything that comes along. - Greenbloc is clearly looking in demand and efforts have been made to ensure stockist have supplies. The technology chosen (out of a number available) took a couple of years to evaluate and had to be commercially attractive as well as not needing new equipment to produce. In fact they can switch from low carbon to normal depending on what is needed at any one time. Max was asked about how Grenbloc is selling but wouldn't be drawn saying he wasn't going to "jump the gun" on announcements they are expecting to make but it's clear there is a lot of interest from specifiers especially as Max said the price was "fairly similar" Initially SRC have gone for producing blocks as it's a simple product but intend to move on to more complex ones like fence posts, retaining walls and lightweight blocks. | alter ego

25/8/2021 07:59 | I happier when cash can be put into the business thsn paying taxes. Enlarged group FCF yield of 9% | arregius
24/8/2021 15:32 | SRC are very much in the buy and build phase. Look at BREE which has only just declared they will pay a dividend. Much as I like dividends, if the company can increase the value of the shares by using cash to grow, I'm happy to let them. | alter ego
24/8/2021 14:45 | Was thinking the same thing, now they have some free cash to think of what to do. If we're not getting it lol, then I'm sure they'll be thinking of new contracts, which is also great | hsduk101
24/8/2021 14:39 | "Subject to availability of distributable reserves, dividends will be paid to shareholders when the Directors believe it is appropriate and prudent to do so. The focus of the Group at this stage of its development will be on delivering capital growth for shareholders. The Directors therefore do not recommend the payment of a dividend for the year." RNS: 13 April 2021 | masurenguy
24/8/2021 14:20 | Can anyone tell me if there has been any mention of a dividend please ? I am totally happy with my holding and the share price growth, just curious to know if a potential divvi has been mentioned anywhere. TIA | wanttowin
24/8/2021 09:38 | Greenbloc is a very interesting product development, which can further enhance business growth in the future, but it is hardly the SigmaRoc USP. | masurenguy
24/8/2021 09:36 | my take is it refers to low carbon products. They are unlikely to be tub thumping for conventional cement use in the same paragraph as talking about Greenbloc. | alter ego
24/8/2021 09:22 | It does say in the interims in a paragraph on SigmaPPG: 'Greenbloc has been rolled out across CCP and Poundfield, and in the second half of the year we anticipate significant developments on several major UK-wide projects which we will announce as and when appropriate.' Not sure whether to read that as projects relating specifically to Greenbloc, or to precast concrete in general. | bigboyblue
24/8/2021 08:53 | no mention of green cement which I would have thought is its USP? | m2ainly

24/8/2021 07:40 | Peel Hunt says SigmaRoc looks ‘very good value’ Building materials company SigmaRoc (SRC) has delivered ‘strong first-half progress’ and broker Peel Hunt expects momentum to continue. Analyst Clyde Lewis maintained his ‘buy’ recommendation and 135p target price on the stock, which closed up 2.5%, or 2.5p, at 104p on Monday. Lewis said solid interim numbers had been driven by acquisitions, a market recovery and internal efficiency measures, while the recent deal to buy Finland’s Nordkalk, which quarries and manufactures limestone-based products, was another positive step. "There is more of that to come in the second half, especially with the Nordkalk deal completing shortly. We are not changing our forecasts at this stage but continue to believe the shares look very good value given the material upside potential we expect from Nordkalk and the opportunities for further bolt-ons and incremental investment." said Lewis | masurenguy |
