05/9/2000 11:50 | Edit - ADVFM have change format of post . Employees SGR 25 DUC42 Turnover SGR10.415m DUC13.4m Profit SGR6.285m DUC2.683 EPS SGR0.55 DUC 0.337 PE Ratio SGR110 DUC 323.442 MKT CAP SGR 265.54 DUC 538.386 Correction Recent share split 5:1 not 4:1. DUC would now be about £5 -£5.40 not £4.40. Could stop post in time! I also hold shares in Durlacher buying in again recently and believe their share price will break through £2 plus again. I like DUC but see an oppotunity in SGR . | matt1231
05/9/2000 11:36 | ADIPaul Thanks for bringing this one to my attention. Bought yesterday and substantially more @62p today after discussion with a friend. As you point out Figures on quotes page look extremely promising compared with Durlacher. SGR DUC Employees 25 42 Turnover 10.415m 13.4m Profit 6.285 m 2.683m EPS 0.55 0.337 PE Ratio 110 538.386 Mkt Cap 265.54 538.386 Notethat:Durlacher's most recent shares split issued 4 new shares for every 1 held . But for this DUC current share price would have been about £4.40 *which helps when comparing the two companies.(* down from their £30+ high) Expectations are that this share will easily double and at some time will fly - market conditions permitting. If there is a crash the share of this price will l fall like the others. I'm tucking these ones away and will top up if share price falls below 60p. Info and personally opinion only, not a ramp. Please DYOR | matt1231
05/9/2000 10:08 | Everything seems to be turning red at the moment.... Shore still blue though. | adipaul
05/9/2000 10:05 | Everything else seems to be turning red at the moment but Shore still blue! | adipaul
05/9/2000 08:44 | Just sold part of my DUC holding, very strange though, I notice on ADVFN's buys/sells they have it under ? 12,000! So now I know you can't count on it :o) Oh! I did not put it into SGR by the way, Keystone for me! jACK | rayrac
05/9/2000 08:38 | 59/62p firm opening considering profit taking at DUC. | market i
05/9/2000 08:32 | ADIPaul: ADVFN trade allocation to buy/sell is just a guess and a bad one at that. Ignore it in most cases. If the price is going up, it's because people are buying. | kayak
05/9/2000 08:15 | Positive opening and buying already | market i
04/9/2000 23:51 | There were only about £150k sells at or below the bid. MM's will bid lower for individual large volume sells. The others were slighly above the bid (but below mid) which suggests large volume buys where mm's will give discount. If I'm right, it means a ratio of 10-1 buys roughly and a volume higher than the day Shore took Jellyworks listing. Regards, Paul. | adipaul
04/9/2000 22:24 | £900k sales on £50k purchases on CNE but no price shift - read into it what you will (source news flow, MM movement - look at historic as well as current, private investor activity) (don't forget the MM's can really play games - where do they want to take the share) | baden
04/9/2000 21:19 | According to the Trades page, there were numerous 50k and 100k sales but that didn't stop the price rise. Anyone like to comment? | timeliner
04/9/2000 20:13 | Yes Aca', Good fun so far, I have a feeling it's all down to how Nasdaq performs tomorrow, if it looks to go south then it will be time for me to exit DUC. But I don't think the same applies to SGR! That's how I feel anyway :o) Jack | rayrac
04/9/2000 19:52 | in on this one since Friday - hoping for some strong continuing support over the next week | baden
04/9/2000 19:50 | Hello again Jack...Glad 2 b in also...and hell! dont I wish i had stayed in Duc with you...:-(.....still been in and out of others and had a reasonable week last week..HAPPY TRADING..:-) | acronem

04/9/2000 19:24 | tempted very interested in these now. Where did your "..something I posted earlier this weekend.." info come from? Is this your own work or a clipping from the press? Thanks in advance. Turk | turk 182
04/9/2000 15:42 | 57p/59p more buying, maybe some Durlacher defectors or ones that want both, that don't want to miss out? | market i
04/9/2000 15:26 | Looking good. | moneybags
04/9/2000 15:24 | Up another 1p to 58p mid. A quality version of Durlacher and about to make itself known. All IMHO, DYOR, TTFN. Paul. | adipaul
04/9/2000 15:22 | Up another 1p to 58p mid. A quality version of Durlacher and about to make itself known. All IMHO, DYOR, TTFN. Paul. | adipaul
04/9/2000 11:00 | Up 2p from 55p so far today. Buys up around 3 - 1 over each of the last four trading days. Volume looks like it might beat the TOTAL of the last four days. Paul. | adipaul
04/9/2000 10:37 | You may see quite a few short term traders coming into these after taking a nice wad on DUC, with a view that these represent good value will be next in play? | market i
04/9/2000 09:57 | They have got to hurry if they are going to beat DUC! I have quite a large holding in DUC, bought @72p and can't see any reason yet to get out! But sentiment is a strange thing and I think we are right to go for Shore, it could be fun. Jack | rayrac
04/9/2000 09:44 | Bought in myself this morning, just got to be patient and wait for the market to wake up to these. Will out perform Durlacher etc in the long run, once they pick up momentum. | market i |
