Taken a few of these.

Like the fact that Paul Scott (Paulypilot) has been buying as he said on Monday...

"Shoe Zone (LON:SHOE) (2.7%) - I’ve been building up a long position here recently. It’s another recovery story. Historically the company has been highly cash generative, and management have big shareholdings. It has incurred heavy losses in 2020, but looks financed adequately to survive, and come out of the other side. Tiny market cap now, which I think looks too low, recovery not yet priced in."

There was a post above which stated BOO being linked to SHOE on LSE. Naturally that post has since been edited, but worth a chuckle :-)

Looks like it has failed the first breakout attempt at 46p. Monstrous buying here of late but still not enough at present to break that key resistance. Wonder if it's Miton who are the sellers.

Hah yeah right, SHOE linked to Boo!There's no brand equity in SHOE. And BOO is only interested in buying brands, not a sprawling network of retail stores.

SHOE linked to BOO :-D

Another barrage of buying coming in this morning. The downtrend is under severe threat now with market makers shifting up and just that seller at 46p (BEGO) holding the key chart resistance.

"Electric vehicles

The government has brought forward the ban on the sale of new petrol and diesel cars and vans by a decade to 2030. It is one of the earliest deadlines of its kind in the world.

More people will be walking and buying shoes

with such a low market cap and no debt pre-covid, it wouldn't surprise me that it's in the crosshairs of potential buyers.

rise likely due to one of the bigger sellers having run out of shares, and the buying has continued to be strong.

it's an undervalued retailer with very good earnings and no debt pre-covid, low mcap, low EV/EBIT ratio. Low outstanding shares of 50m (25m held by ceo + chairman) means that it will be prone to higher volatility due to illiquidity.

Any reason for today's rise?

I was told yday that Finncap had a seller. As you say, looks like theyve now stopped selling. Hopefully for good, not just having a day off!

look's like a larger seller may have run out. there's been consistent buying, but the price has stayed stationary, until today. i'm in for a risky recovery play. one of the better run retailers.

More fireworks with the price now up 20% and an absolute barrage of buying coming in!

If this continues and that chart breaks higher, it could get real tasty here. These will be the levels down here where you can buy in more size, clear the sellers out at these levels and the offer usually dries up on breakouts.

Might have to get slipper weekly out at this rate.

Paul on Stockopedia did mention SHOE as one of his holdings yesterday. Might be behind the buys this morning. This share is so illiquid a few buys really moves it.Has potential to go back up to around 50-55p mark, which was level seen in Sep before the prospect of a second lockdown.

Has SHOE been tipped somewhere? Good volumes yesterday and today, with a decent price rise too.
