Surprised to be honest -

Certainly a good buy now, and must have some form of rebound over the coming days.

Bit overdone. Even without the special dividend it's now yielding nearly 10%.

Very strange. The Chairman becomes the new Chief Executive and the Chief Operating Officer becomes his boss as the new Chairman. Who is telling who what to do I wonder? Meanwhile the High Street is suffering from internet trading competition and high rent and rates. I quite like Shoe Zone as their shoes are very cheap and you can try them on in the shop. They don't last long though.

Unlucky folks. This one will recover back over time though.Does say a lot about how Boris is taking the UK down the plug hole if Shoe Zone are struggling.Much more carnage and chaos to come.

"Whilst the Big Box and Digital growth elements of the Group's strategy are progressing strongly, in the short term, their performance has been offset by the tough high street trading environment."

An odd use of "in the short term" and commas. I suppose they mean "recently" and that it refers to the trading environment.

Yes it's a shame the old thread has been deleted - since for anyone new to the stock it can be useful to understand historic movements, concerns etc.

For the record I have been a holder for a while and surprised by the recent fall I have recently topped up my holding so as it is now one of my larger positions.

I absolutely believe that Shoezone is one of the very few retailers that has nailed the combination of online retail / store space / "amazon-like" logistics (my own phrase) into one offer. My belief is that the market has just labelled it 2retailer with stores."

For the benefit of un-iniitated IAS16 will shortly have an impact on the balance sheet presentations of retailer in particular. But again SHOE has this nailed with super locations for its stores and rapidly falling leases.

I'll set up a new thread if people want to use it, with charts and a bit of extra header. No problem. And I guarantee if I sell out I shall just leave the thread as it is.

Let's come back here since the idiot who started the other board has chosen to sabotage it.

Sometimes people don't get it and you need to explain to them that they're behaving badly. I doubt he's able to learn though.

Maybe just go back to the other thread

Constable Ken, if you want to a favour from someone calling them extraordinarily arrogant isn't a good way to do it . So can I ask, Could you put them back please Masurenguy?

Masurenguy

Please could you restore the charts etc to the header? I know you started this board, but everyone else joined in and contributed. It's extraordinarily arrogant to sabotage a longstanding forum just because you're no longer interested.
