Finally bounced and starting to follow the market back up. A long way to go to get back to a 10% discount though. Forecast yield of at least 11% still a little better than the 1.6% available on the average instant access savings account.

Aleman,
I thought this effect would have happened much sooner than now so I hope this is a definite trend.

NAV creeping up. Discount just starting to close a touch - still maybe 35%. Long way to go yet to get back to 10%!

You are confusing with SDV, who have just issued their half-year report, by the way.

For some reason I thought there was a 1.2p dividend last Friday here. I must be wrong - can someone confirm that I'm wrong?

But it is being cut to at a minimum of 7p next year and I don't want to mislead people.

Obviously, they are going to fall until the line of stock is gone. I reckon they are still at a discount of 35 to 36% after adjusting for today's movements.

I bought some more yesterday. You may be interested to know that the MMs couldn't meet my order. They had to ring somebody to see if they still had stock available to sell to help them out. The somebody did and I got my order filled at the offer.

These are over 35% below NAV now! Buy at 58p and get 4.9p back in January so your virtually buying at 53p to get a promised 7p+ yield next year - that would be 13%+ yield. Even if you don't net off the final dividend, the forecast yield for 2009 on the rebased dividend is still 12.1%. What's more, I'm finding smaller shares seeing increased activity. The lower £ should benefit most quite a bit in the next year. Blue chips bottomed in October. Small caps are on lower ratings and have been starting to rise this week. When will SHD bottom?

A seller only got 47p earlier. Falling 5% per day. Hold on I say. 50p offer is coming....although I am looking for lower.
