27/10/2017 10:01 | HCM and Abcam are just further examples of the schizophrenic market. Wildly overvalued. Abcam trades on a P/E of 50, HCM has a P/E over 200 (!), made a profit of just £12M last year. Shire? P/E of 9 and gets trashed. | justiceforthemany
27/10/2017 09:38 | Take a look at HCM.I've held for a couple of years and expect it to go a lot higher over the long term. It's more than compensated for Shire. | steeplejack
27/10/2017 08:48 | Covered in a lot of leaves this morning. Thank goodness for BATS and IMB this week , the drugs sure aren't doing anything for me at the moment ;-) | philanderer

27/10/2017 08:32 | Fwiw Healthblogger over on SA is modelling a 3% miss on earnings. He has been a strong supporter of Shire and considers this in the price. Increased my GSK by 20% this AM, stated adding GSK too soon addmitedly, whether adding futher is sensible I'm unsure!. | essentialinvestor
27/10/2017 08:22 | Bad feeling about this. | philanderer
27/10/2017 07:06 | Not a good start to the day, pre results. Either the market is all wrong and will go into reverse, or there is going to be a collapse. I already regret having bought yesterday, but will hedge with a short if the results are, what it seems, as bad as the market expects. | andyj
27/10/2017 06:55 | Can't watch. Already nursing a substantial loss. | ruethewhirl
27/10/2017 06:26 | The shoot out is at High Noon. | steeplejack
27/10/2017 06:21 | What time results are coming | karam
27/10/2017 06:09 | The stock has fallen by a third in less than 5 months.Too late to sell, too early to buy?The post results meeting will be well attended. | steeplejack
26/10/2017 19:46 | Even with today's decline they still sell on over 18x forward. Did not allow for much disappointment. | essentialinvestor
26/10/2017 19:35 | Phil, Celegene off 20% not helping sentiment, cutting their outlook. CELG is highly rated in fairness. | essentialinvestor
26/10/2017 19:26 | Sure has, 3494p at the moment stateside. Shorters at this level must think they know something the rest of us don't. | philanderer
26/10/2017 17:09 | 26th October 2017 The European Commission approves Shire plc's (NASDAQ:SHPG) FIRAZYR (icatibant injection) for the symptomatic treatment of acute hereditary angioedema (HAE) attacks in pediatric patients at least two years old. The product was approved in Europe in 2008 to treat acute HAE attacks in adults. FIRAZYR will be available to treat pediatric patients this quarter. So good news again has trashed the share price | justiceforthemany
26/10/2017 16:03 | We'll know at 12 o'clock tomorrow ;-) | philanderer
26/10/2017 15:27 | Sara Mathew Buy 3,723.11p 4,050 £150,786.06Flemming Ornskov Buy 3,664.93p 8,400 £307,854.1222nd Aug 2017Well,if there is something awry,it's all the stranger given the director purchases made only 2 months ago. | steeplejack
26/10/2017 15:27 | Worth taking the time to study balance sheets before investing folks. Looks like I have offended GSK investors here. May well rebound but I was surprised when I took the time to study the books and found $59Bn in assets but $54Bn in liabilities. Go look yourself. Does not mean it will not rebound but these are hard facts so don't mope! | justiceforthemany |
