The coverage in the US continues to slowly grow.

Point32health who are a decent sized insurer have made Accrufer authorised from 1/1/25


They have two insurers

So it looks like another 2.1m patients covered start of 2025.

They claim to be in +tive territory by YE25 and given figures this year with the Texas side still to show i see no reason to doubt that. I also emailed them to investigate the Canada impact on IV as if they numbers come down due to this oral iron drug being their first option then US insurers and global markets they are in will surely wake up to that. Either way, this time next year, this share price should be someway north of where it is now.

To be fair to AOP they have put their money where their mouth is and if the project fails they don’t even have the IP. That is why the last $10m funding will come. Self interest to protect their historical investment. And ours!

We got a business update on 21/11/24 with October 24 data.
They also said “ The Company is engaged with The Panel on Takeovers and Mergers (the "Takeover Panel") to seek a waiver from the obligation of AOP Health to make an offer under Rule 9 of the Takeover Code and expects to convene a meeting of Shield's shareholders (the "General Meeting") before the end of 2024.”

I would expect another business update around 21/12 with some November prescription data snd a date for the GM in mid Jan 25 as they must give 21 days notice.
