Top grader

Spot on regarding your maximum gains comment all those regular posters who never liked a negative comment even though warranted at the time have gone extremely quiet disappeared.
Having started buying in the 30 p range some years ago it’s extremely disappointing to be back at these levels but it’s been a disaster for reasons we will never know.
Carl sterrit in my opinion was a decent CEO and i feel if he was still in place a deal of sorts would have been in place.
but as long as the time frames set out in December are adhered too with the right people in place if the go alone strategy is the choice then on a risk reward ratio I’m happy to add around these levels and confident when the placing funds are achieved it should be a steady path north

Sentiment is awful; buyers have retreated; fundamentals remain unchanged. Maximum gains come to those who buy when no one else is interested.

Seems the seller is done (at least for now). Buys far exceed sells

If they go down selling Accrufer themselves then $30/$40 million was quoted as the cost and a percentage of that around 50% will be from placing that as already been stated question is will they go it alone we have been told decision by end of March that time line needs to be adhered

Me? not Rob (who he) - I am a holder having bought too high!

I want a placing! IMO go-it-alone is a better & more lucrative strategy for USA market entry than licensing, will bring in new institutional investors and remove the uncertainty inherent in depending upon the performance of a licencee. AIM:SCE which announced a highly dilutive placing (23%) to fund its expansion just 10 days ago is now trading 50% above the placing price

This is modern share market strategy!! Telling others to sell and keep posting negative while loading up themselves!!Lol.

I suspect Toffeeman (Rob) is going to miss the boat here.

I disagree the price is telling us that a fund raise is imminent

We got very strong support here!!We did go below this level twice, once in march last year and in 11th jan this year and both time we bounce straightaway!!So not expecting the dip, instead expecting share price to bounce from here.

Have the directors made any comment on whether there will be a rights issue/open offer or placing, should they need to raise equity? The risk of involuntary dilution matters for private investors here.

Isn't that what stx has been trying to do for the past year but failed miserably?

DNL struck a lucrative deal to market their drugs in USA with Eton pharmaceuticals.
Eton say it is their lead drug and their share price has rocketed.
Couldn't STX follow the same path with Eton?

Tim (Guy with head up his own ass) should resign .. For incompetence. This company could have been a fantastic company . Should be miles ahead of we're it is now. Share at bottom no deal. Wow . No money left to bring product to market. Unbelievable

True. Maybe he simply needed to move some funds around to buy the desired amount, meaning he needed to make two purchases.
For some reason while typing this, I have images of Columbo uncovering the mystery, pipe in hand. It probably would not be a very good episode, but nonetheless :)

Because (a) there may not be a placing; or (b) if there is to be one they expect the share price to rise before any fundraising is announced in late March / April; and (c) the share price should rise on a placing announcement because it's funding to enter a new market worth a multiple of the current market cap.

Lovewins: could be that but one purchase alone could have achieved same effect imo.

Also 10k purchases in market and then the rest in primary stock would also have same effect so I don’t think it’s that but thought provoking response all the same. Still I’m wrong often enough to be wrong again...

Maybe in order to encourage the bigger holders to follow him at a 'cheaper' price to the one he took? Human nature, even if managing a fund involving customer money, to want to get what looks (and hopefully is!) a good deal.
I bought more after his purchase and would not have done so at that point otherwise. One idea anyway. Must be due some news soon on such matters.

Agree Toffeeman as AGL already got theirs and a good Chunk too. Jupiter sold. job done.

Thing that puzzles me here: why would directors make recent purchases on market if they knew they could get them cheaper in a near term placing? It would be like shorting yourself/throwing personal cash away....

Anyone have any views on this?
