The deal will happen. Iron deficiency ain’t going anywhere and STX have the worlds most combined convenient and effective therapeutic for the worlds biggest deficiency. The impatient will sell. Traders may sell. But this share rises rapidly and it is very easy to get locked out.
Just if. Not when. And as the virus takes off again, you reckon hospitals are keen on IV iron. Nope. We have a tablet as effective, less costly and keeps people out of clinics and away from the virus.
The writing is on the wall for IV iron.
The world is now a different place. Working from home will become common place. Doctor consultations over the phone are common place now.
And you reckon IV iron requiring hospitalisation can compete with a tablet !

I know where I’m putting my money.

Old mantra - but if the price goes down there are more sells than buys.

These are strange times Nobby. I wonder if it is US pharma specific, or just a pharma small cap sell off/mini sell off? As we all keep saying, nothing really has changed!
On the other hand, I think that the bounce will be more pronounced when a good deal is declared.
No dry powder left for now, so will have to just sit on my hands...

Apparently more buys than sells and yet the price is down more than 5%. Yes I know there may be more sells in the background we can't see but nevertheless this lack of clarity is very frustrating.

The spread less important when this opens 180p+ on the announcement of a US deal. That said I would like to buy more at 125p please. I thought with some negative market sentiment after DTs comments on the US stimulus we would get there today but then he changed his mind last night!

I am tempted to buy more myself, but the spread is putting me off. For the time being anyway.

Well net 15k bought today when the MMs were already short....and the price is down 3%! The usual smoke and mirrors; don't give them your shares cheap to balance their book!

No investment advice intended....

Well the wife got a new car, with those funds I was going to put half into STX and half into SNG (put peanuts there for another top-up)- just outlined a few days like today would pay for a better car - but as we all know shares can go down as well - at least she has a new car which we get end of this week. But wish I'd put the money in both stocks instead - well still a great day with the shares we have - hope the US deal comes soon, and importantly it is a good one.

It sounds like you were responsible for most of the rise today then. That and the lack of sells

Is there a leak possibly? The volume is relatively low which might suggest not....although as we know it's difficult to get many!

Well if it's not October, it will be November 😆! At the end of the day it matters not as long as a deal arrives at some point....

MMs running for cover now. Finncap back on the bid and offer again.

The chart is looking promising for a higher high in the near future...

Absolutely nothing offered at the screen price and they are bidding up for quite a few. The fall today is completely artificial MM nonsense. Yes I have bought a few more and am convinced we will get the deal shortly. Yes it has taken too long but all that matters is that it eventually arrives!

Frequently have done so in these last 15 months, as three deadlines come and go.
