11/5/2009 11:55 | Normally around this time of year the share price was 14p, currently 8.5p and the 26mill from Westham, the share price would have been well up on this, with expectations of success in the playoffs. I'm expecting the club to be sold if we reach the prem, it was McCabes intention if we stayed up and i think it will happen if we go up. He will put in an offer for the remaing shares and then sell to American business men. we just need a little lady luck now. UTB | jasper28

05/5/2009 19:08 | bluenose851 it's quiet most of the time. thanks for calling by. enjoy the Premiership. Not sure why the animosity, has anyone on here been sl*gging your team off? I only think you should have clinched promotion earlier to be honest. Hope we can follow via the play-offs anyway. | s66blade
05/5/2009 14:31 | they are priced at Unibond league levels because thats where they will be in a few years!!!! lol | bluenose851

28/4/2009 17:44 | Should be a good game sunday and I'll be there (Palace season ticket holder). I personally would like to see Reading go up - affinity to Steve Coppell and all that. | the big fella
27/4/2009 23:46 | Yes, perfect result. Not only does it mean Reading will give it everything at the weekend it also means a draw won't be good enough for us, so there will be no doubting what to play for. Fingernail biting time me thinks!! | laugher
27/4/2009 22:52 | S66 Reading up with the pace following the win tonight. C U next week. | alwaysbanking
27/4/2009 22:14 | just the result we needed tonight | outsourcer
27/4/2009 13:00 | the two Preston goals were outstanding strikes, the free kick especially | outsourcer
27/4/2009 12:39 | Comments on BBC 606 by Birmingham fans seem to be very negative. They had already got their promotion party planned but failed to inform Preston who by all accounts out-played them for most of the game. If we have to go through the play-offs I would rather Reading got 2nd spot and we had to play Birmingham. | s66blade
27/4/2009 11:26 | If you were Reading, who would you fancy facing in the playoffs? The form team of the division or a team you have demoralised when you beat them on the last day of the season, dropping them from automatic promotion. I reckon Reading will beat Birmingham. | alicat1
27/4/2009 09:51 | I don't believe in omens but if I did..... Birmingham have only lost 2 games back to back all season long. 13/12/08 they lost 1 - 0 to Preston 20/12/08 they lost 3 - 1 to Reading | s66blade
27/4/2009 08:39 | well down to the last game of the season, what are the chances of Warnock making it an easy 3 points for ? I can't see Birmingham getting anything from Reading especially if Reading win tonight as they will still be in with a shout for automatic promoation. If we do get back in to the premiership can anyone see it affecting the share price ? at present without dividends and an active market I cant see any incentive for buying, I would think the only hope would be if Kev decided he wanted to buy all the remaining shares and offered a decent price. | outsourcer
06/4/2009 13:07 | Jasper - facts or just your hope ? | outsourcer
06/4/2009 09:06 | If we get back in to the Premiership, the club will be sold. Thats the plan... | jasper28
30/3/2009 22:42 | A bit far fetched perhaps but should all things fall in place and we return to the Premiership this, or indeed in a future, season do think they would consider re-listing?? With 10m plus from the Tevez affair and Premiership status you would think the share would attract more than 8.5p. A tidy profit for Mr McCabe if he can sell a few back into the market at some point going forward. | laugher
30/3/2009 08:30 | Thanks for that Chatterjee, it appears good news, but I stall cant see any return we will get, so cant see why anyone that doesn't hold would to buy and anyone that does would want to top up. There is no dividend and it has never been intimated there will be. I will see this first quarter out and see what price change there is if any. Live in Jersey not Gib ! | outsourcer |
