That sounds as what KM et al are offering. However, make what you will. I have bought some more this am at around 0.4 pence. I just hope that our interpretation is correct. I believe that the mid-share price was 8.5 pence before the day of the announcement. there was a 100,000 trade at 1.5 pence that is down as a sale but i wouldn't be surprised that it was a buy as both of my trades were assumed "sales"- perhaps a director buying in ???

correct me if I am wrong, but I can buy now at 6p and then come January, per the release they will buy back at the mid prices the day before the announcment which is 8.5p, that sounds a bit to good to me !!

There is a history to this I held shares in PKL at 30p. They delisted it from AIM. Just this year they paide me out at £1. Also I am holding NRG into delisting not accepting any offerts from them see my rece3nt posts this is the same. THEY ARE LETTING YOU BUY at 6p. I got someone to buy £10K at the close and he got them at 6 pence lower than EVER BEFORE!!!!
AIM Funds have to sell as they are only allowed to hold AIM stocks. If you get any money before delisting buy. I'm in bigtime tommorrow......

Well as you can see from my post 2624 above I told you it would be delisted but you had only hours to act and sell at 8.5p before the official announcement and I'm not psychic.Look up my profile and see how often I am right.

As perhaps one of the few (or the only one?) on here to attend recent AGM's, de-listing has always 'been an option' put forward by KM.

He does hold the 'balance of power' though - so, erm...............?

Hmmmm taking the club off the market before ligitimate shareholders get chance to benefit from any Tevez payout, or am I just being cynical?

Taken what they could get from the listing and when things got tough they are pulling listing leaving the shareholder high and dry.

Typical behaviour from that end of the City!!

Yes, Outsourcer, I also noticed the share price dip over the previous last couple of days. First the 0.5 pence drop and then 1.5 pence. Thee are was hardly any trading so how could the market value the shares cheaper. I thought that the Reading result could initially be the only factor as well as the club announcing a cut in premium match ticket prices over the VAT value cut. How naiive of me. I have actually purchased some more today on the assumption that the directors will pay the price of 8.5 pence. However, it's a speculative punt.

"This price will be set by the Directors on a quarterly basis but for the purposes of the first quarter following the de-listing the price will be at least the mid market price quoted on AIM as at the close of business on the
date before the cancellation of the Company's listing was announced"

I reckon that makes it 8.5p Chatterjee.

Quite convienent then that the price fell yesterday before the announcement, so Macabe/The Directors can get the shares on the cheap rather then paying a decent amount, yet they claim they are delisting because the share price doesnt reflect the true value of the Company, yet will get to buy the shares up on the cheap

The directors will purchase any shares at the midprice before the announcement date which I assume was yesterday and at 8.5 pence. Am I right anyone ?

I think and correct me if i'm wrong, that they have to purchase at the last share offer, which i think was 10p.

This will test any shareholder's patience. The club will lose out in the long term due to Mccabe and the board's actions.

Fear of delisting. FC Board cannot raise more funds as PLC share price so disappointing.
Fear of statement coming that SHeff Utd do not consider the cost of a listing worth it as the PLC is no longer seen as a source of funds
Fear of "reselling the family silver" at shareholders expense
Fear board took wrong strategy in the property market and in China and with Wolves and Birmingham taking the automatic places and Reading in the playoffs another season in the Championship could even lead to relegation to L1
Any money from West Ham may be squardered on property etc and no star players will join since promotion so unlikely
Also existing squad still of Championship quality only (as it was even in the premiership, only the manager kept them up, almost) so the players have no motive to win the playoffs as with the West Ham money they would be laid off so with an average manager and a fairly average Championship squad there is nothing in it dor shareholders
They'll beat Burnley though, so place your bets - I put £100 on it

It's called 'double standards'

The London clubs/Man Utd/Liverpool biased media are just proving how errrr,.....biased they are.
