Yep Pp, all very reassuring statements.
After due diligence, the board might well abandon all that initial pipeline as not suitable acquisitions. On the other hand, they might not and they could well be in negotiations with a suitable target. We have no way of knowing.
The news though, when it comes, will be ground-breaking - that's almost certain, but in the meantime all we can do is make inane comments such as this post!

the positive action that you mention might/probably refers to Lord Reid joining the board.
I wouldn't underestimate the importance of that news.

To state, on 28 December, 'positive action on this front in the New Year', surely suggests that those in the Know are pretty sure of what they want and when they can expect to get it?

PP - thank goodness, I thought you might be suffering from a computer glitch... you seemed to have been stuck on weekly repeat of "The wealth of experience...... etc". I was thinking SWG might have to rescue you.

With half a billion shares listed, another 31.5m shares added tomorrow is unlikely to affect price that much. What will do is what the holder decides to do with them.

5-6p looks to be where these are headed. Its what the now very large BoD will want in order to structure a sensible share-for-share or much larger placing for acquisition(s). Also makes sense in context of early Jan 4p placing price and profit-takers that will continue to take advantage of the RIs late to the party on the back of Daily Mail. Also beware the late Friday afternoon seller - 1m shares last week, 2m the week before.

Lord Reid who has joined Shearwater Group as chairman of the Advisory Board, happens to be the chairman of the Institute of Security and Resilience Studies at UCL.
Former Home Secretary and Defence Secretary during the Blair Government (don't hold it against him!!),this is a massive coup for Shearwater Group.
