I think its been all this stuff about the acquisition that helped deflate the share price, or the lack of one. That was given as the reason for the placing and then little news till we discovered how cover had impacted and no acquisition. To be fair they didn't know either and it was temping to take advantage of the insane spike to nearly £3. However things have turned around impressively and on a PE of less than 12 still ridiculously cheap. On current earnings I think £2.40 is a fair price, with further progress this year could be a lot higher.

Not too long until results now and it will be interesting to see how the momentum is in the business, also will they find an acquisition..?

Thinking SWG was too cheap this morning I decided to give it a kick, so bought a few. It seeme to have worked!
Not sure why it should have triggered five 1-share trades - mm signals?

Today's fall seems to have been brought about by two modest sells - modest in the sense that they were less than I might have wanted to sell! Basically it illustrates the danger of holding poor liquidity stocks, particularly at a time when mm's may want to keep a level book.
Of course, it also highlights the possibility of picking up a bargain while also being a warning against impatiently chasing the price up .... or of becoming a forced seller.

MM's only allowing you 1k to buy at the full offer price of £1.80.In the morning you could buy upto 12,000 @ £1.74. With the total volume of only 28,000 shares traded so far ... what's happened to all the excess shares that people have been selling over the past few sessions ???

I've taken a few more at 178.92p,and building a nice position here.

Seems a great price as it was only a few weeks ago they issued trading ahead of expectations news. Happy to hold long term.

The share price is down 49.5p from intraday high of £2.22 on 04/06/2021.The company is trading strongly and ahead of management expectations with full year results next month,the shares will recover and go higher than £2.22 before results.

I agree, all looks good. The only possible cloud on the horizon would be an acquisition paid for by a substantial share issue.
As we’ve seen in the past, this would have a negative effect on the share price in the short term.

Due to the pandemic H1 revenue reduced to £11.2M from £16.3M.The revenue recovered strongly in H2 to £20.6M being 24% higher than the corresponding period.

This strong trading in H2 is continuing in the current year... expect another year of strong revenue growth and profits.

Another strong indicator for H2 was the cash generated in the period also increased substantially to £7.3M at 31/03/2021 from £3.8M at 30/09/2020.

On the subject of acquisition Watcher mentioned, it is quite possible they are close to finding the right company to fit and compliment the portfolio. They have been looking for over a year. They have stressed it must be a sound company , not one that needs fixing. Many people have criticised the company for overpaying previously by comparing the market cap to the combined purchase prices. Its not really that simple. They did have some issues bedding in some companies as is often the case at the beginning. Had it not been for the pandemic I doubt we would have had the opportunity to buy more at under £1.30 last year.By autumn the revenue had plunged by over 30%, they made up that lost ground in 3 months and are now on earnings growth forecast of 2,800% and a pe of around 12! Schroder's have been steadily building a stake here and are now the largest holder. Sit back and enjoy

With the profit takers out of the way the next upward climb has started.The share price should go higher than the recent £2.22

Full year results will be announced in July ... the current trading according to the last trading update is very strong

It won't take that much buying for share price to climb above £2 again !!!

The last fund raising was supposed to be for acquisitions. It's been downhill ever since apart from the recent, now dampened, recovery.Will not be pleased if today's fall reflects fears of further dilution.
