19/2/2021 18:50 | I dipped my toe just before close. | northwards
19/2/2021 18:37 | Took a modest initial position this afternoon. Not much stock available and therefore I had to place a limit order which took half an hour to fill. | masurenguy
19/2/2021 17:51 | Rather interestingly.. That 25k today posted as a sell actually looks like a delayed buy going by the spread at the time stamp of the trade. I still hold fwiw. | tole
19/2/2021 17:35 | I did email DW earlier in the week . He seems to think things have held up pretty well despite COVID. Pleased that they have attracted a few more institutions onto the shareholder register.Just says its the nature of small companies to have exaggerated share price movement. Quite, especially when you have 50,000 sells going through! Next update end of April. I think its fair to say they are a quality company winning many awards and helping London uni with Covid tracking system pro bono, although not heard much about that since. The fact that they can get contracts with an international Bank and a large New York global fashion 14 store chain also suggests much confidence in the company. Previously they have a 3 year £8 million contract with a FTSE 100 telecommunication company till 2022. They also have a £2 million contract signed to start next financial year. I can only think that this elusive acquisition is bugging the market a little, because they paid off £4million legacy loan last year and still have the cash from the placing.Maybe still some impatience from the placing @2.4. It is pretty disappointing for those who took part, including the directors. I remember people complaining that pi's couldn't take part. Now they know why! | earwacks
19/2/2021 15:40 | They seem to issue quarterly statements and some contract news - Year end 31 March - so maybe around six weeks to a statement, prior to end of year results. | weatherman
19/2/2021 14:27 | Yeah...I'm about 8% down on my purchase at 144. Frustrating but not time to panic for me yet. | pinemartin9
19/2/2021 14:26 | The share price is looking very sick. It's an unloved stock. Perhaps an end year trading update will reassure in the next 6 weeks or so. | northwards
19/2/2021 14:08 | Approaching the 4 year low of 128p on November 12 last year ! Shareprice is down 45% on last Aprils placing price and almost 12% since the beginning of this calendar year. Looking for a good entry point but not sure that we are there yet. | masurenguy

18/2/2021 12:48 | From memory, Techinvest don't normally do sells unless dire prospects - either hold or buy. So, I'm guessing positive. I was impressed they managed to hold EBITA well up despite half year fall in revenue, suggesting a tighter rein on costs. Recent reports are for recovery of turnover, which should lead to a good outcome for the year, possibly below 10 for price/EBITA ratio - imo. | weatherman
18/2/2021 04:57 | As a buy or a sell tho? | deanowls
17/2/2021 18:57 | Someone on LSE board has said Techinvest mentioned SWG in Feb edition. | weatherman
17/2/2021 11:46 | Nightswatch, Good spot as the Leadership page where they are mentioned is 'under maintenance': Steve Watts has 892,857 shares. | simon gordon
17/2/2021 11:13 | I agree, if they can control costs, and set this on long term quality growth, target small quality acquisitions from cash flow, it is looking cheap. | weatherman
16/2/2021 19:18 | Market makers walked the share price down today. Minimal trades at 140p ask / 136p bid (although you could actually buy at 138p) Someone bought 35,000 shares at 138p towards end of session, they then moved ask up to 141p. Finally uncrossing trade was 5 shares at 134.5p so share price down 5% on day. Probably tomorrow will open 5% up, although nothings changed!!!!!!!!!!! Why? I reckon the MMs are trying to spook PIs into selling shares close to year low price to fill big orders. Certainly if it drops much lower, I will be filling my boots. Rich | lammylover
16/2/2021 17:21 | send it to aim regulators | jammytass
16/2/2021 17:03 | Some great manipulating going on here. sale of six shares drops the share price to 1.36 and then sale of 5 shares drops it to 1.34. So less than the sale of £14 of shares knocks 2 million off the market cap. Brilliant | earwacks
16/2/2021 14:52 | I'm getting the cattle prod here watcher13. Residency in ClobberVille! Can't run away from this one - biggest howler, now down 16%. Perhaps approached it too lax without using a stop and abit clouded with rose tinted specs from all the bullish moves out there. The progression of updates appeared to be bullish here so still waiting to see if that is the theme. Perhaps there is more of a placing risk here than envisaged with the price moves? Hanging in there, but not adding. It's a small position as this is higher risk, but still not a nice one to watch dripping down. Drip, drip, drip by sellers. Clearly going to need some whopping exchanges to alleviate any sellers even if the recent bullish updates continue. All imo DYOR | sphere25
12/2/2021 08:18 | anyone got a cattle prod? need something to kick some life into this company - maybe if they bought a couple of bitcoins! | watcher13
10/2/2021 14:26 | No, they do not need to announce none group Exec changes. I have pointed out before that their model is flawed in having a "CEO" for each business, the duplication of unnecessary cost is ridiculous and clearly no longer even affordable. The M&A strategy was reasonably well conceived but has been terribly executed - MCAP dwarfed by cash spent putting this thing together. No prospect of more acqustions until they sort out what they already have , added to no financial ability to buy anything else and paper that nobody wants. | 2lb
09/2/2021 19:16 | According to companies house records a couple of senior departures. Debbie Garside from Geolang January 2021 and Stephen Watts from Secure Envoy 20 December 2020. Both subsidiary CEO’s. Interesting. Was this announced by SWG? | nightswatch
09/2/2021 16:48 | news soon? | jammytass
04/2/2021 13:32 | Good call, Pinemartin - I've bought quite a few between 140 and 160p. Any good news such as a contract win, will send this up northwards rapidly - there's only 23.8m shares in circulation. Rich | lammylover
04/2/2021 12:20 | Just bought in here. 2 purchases @144.8 for my SIPP and my wife's. I like the sector, the share price seems to be bottoming out. Seems tightly held, and newsflow cold drive this. I like the sector. Not without risk so I've gone for a relatively modest % exposure in the SIPPS. | pinemartin9 |
