Shanta have produced an updated list of shareholdings over 3% at 17/12/21.

It is noticeable that Fidelity International who held over 52 million shares as at 30/9/21 are missing together with Black Rock who held 41 million shares.

It was obvious to me that someone was offloading all though some doubted it .

What i find odd is that we have had no notifications about reduced holdings.

I invest in companies which have products which people will need and want in the future and ones that are unloved, but with good growth, so a few pence up and down dont worry me. I dont go whinging on every penny movement, if you followed Tesla or any company in its growth period you would have noticed this, why dont you just sell if you are feeling the pain , as you have not been happy with SHG or CEY since you invested even when it was 20p, so what will make you happy.

I recall being at University and discussing efficient markets theory. Essentially, all known information is perfectly reflected in share prices at any moment in time and every company is perfectly valued in comparison to each other. If markets were efficient, there would be no use for charts.

The reality is, investors repeat the same pattern of behaviour time and time again which gives charts a value. In my view, it enables more accurate predictions about share price reaction to events and can help to identify resistance levels. What charts cannot do is accurately predict success or failure of company strategy and they are pretty hopeless at identifying the underlying fair value of a business.

Are you self employed or do you work for some one, it doesnt really matter but i have been self employed for over 35yrs and during this period you see the good times and the bad times, well when i look at Shanta they have had a few gliches and the way you react to things its like the end of the world which it isnt, and if you look at all gold shares right across the sector they have all retraced about the same percentage, so all it shows is that its the market whats reacting, the market in my opinion is reacting like we are going to repeat 2011 and gold to fall, which in my opinion is completely wrong and i have added and will continue until the economics says different, If you put the same amount of energy in educating your self as you do in blaming every one and the company for where we are , you would then calm down and see what i see.

My brother as just come back from USA and his family reckons they have about 10 to 14% inflation and if the USD falls any further inflation will increase. But our inflation will decrease.

'Britcoin': There isn't a 'convincing case' for a digital currency in the UK, House of Lords committee says

Creating an official digital currency in the UK could pose "significant risks" to banks, a House of Lords committee has warned.

The Lords Economic Affairs Committee said introducing a central banking digital currency (CBDC) "would have far-reaching consequences for households, businesses and the monetary system".
