Big boys don't want 35k here and 40k over here etc etc. They want 100k plus in similar geology and geography to each other. All close enough to benefit from group level synergies whilst far enough away to benefit from jurisdiction diversification.

I "guess"... WK need at least $80m initial cost just to develop the infrastructure... from water supply, road, housing, building, electricity supply, etc... then pay maintenance cost to be included in AISC

AISC shot up... That's real Kenny... Please breakdown the components such as cost of energy, transport, tax, royalties, chemicals, machines... and of course wages

Where is AISC now ? Where was it being reported at 2 years ago ? Then ask yourself what has really changed . Nearly every AIM gold miner reckons their AISC has shot up … really ? Just an excuse imho to preserve their own salaries for as long as possible and nothing about shareholder value . 🤷‍a94;️

PoG will rise due to higher cost to produce and also supply-demand law... These are two natural key drivers

Lowtrawler, regarding your belief that "the massive printing of fiat and resulting inflation can only lead to an equally massive rise in pog.... "... I think you need to make a list of the drivers causing the PoG will eventually rise significantly other than just cryptos where the total asset of cryptos is still relatively small comparing the total funds in bond market, tech stocks, other hard assets such as housing, commercial buildings, etc...

338, as a minimum you would expect gold to keep pace with inflation. In reality, it will do far better due to the impact of QE.

If you believe gold truly acts as a stable currency, the massive printing of fiat and resulting inflation can only lead to an equally massive rise in pog. The failure to perform like this to date is both surprising and concerning. It may partially have been due to emergence of crypto but may also have been due to market manipulation. My personal belief is that crypto will collapse and opportunities for manipulation have been massively reduced. Time will tell.

BoE becomes first major central bank to raise rates since pandemic... The Fed could be the last sometimes in May 2022... Meaning the dollar index could drop significantly and PoG will rise 👍
