Realised gold price of $1633 for the quarter...looking good!

Agreed Redhill, it's one of 3 slight negatives to the announcement.They need the TRA to validate their VAT claims before they can offset any more against corporation tax.They have confirmed their intention to do exploratory drilling, PFS and DFS on the Kenya project which pushes it many years into the future and is likely to cost several hundred million before production.

What they haven't done is reduce the hedge at 30/6 from the last quarterly announcement when they stated they had reduced it to 27306 oz.

Since the 30/6 they have reduced it further to 23048 so they have a fair bit to do to clear it by the end of the year.

At a guess i would say they wanted to conserve cash for the Kenya deal and show a net cash position at 30/6 for the first time in their producing history.

I particularly like EBITDA being forecast at 100m. That's a proxy for cashflow excluding investment activities and movements in working capital. Compare that to our market capitalisation.

No rush. A quarterly update isn't going to suddenly propel us to fair value, it will be part of the journey. Lots of small steps will get us there.
