18/6/2020 09:00 | the news will be few days after Proactive One2One Investor Forum this evening. still watching shantagold in my radar. | amazoner
17/6/2020 23:58 | GGP has seen amazing increases over the last year but it's a little unfair to compare other investments to that. Shantas performance over the last 12 months is not to be sniffed that and many investors would dream of seeing a 50% increase over the past year. I think what GGP shows is that a stream of good news and low liquidity can result in massive increases. | space_bob
17/6/2020 21:44 | I sometimes wonder why I’m invested here ,it’s another sea of red again today,a lot of the posts seem positive ,can’t make out whether it’s a good or bad share to be in ,GGP has done wonders fo me ,and I think there is a lot more to come ,good luck | alangriffbang
17/6/2020 21:14 | I see a few of the guys on Twitter are in both shanti & sol ? I’m only in shanti but wondered if any of you guys are invested in both & why ? | stmellons28
17/6/2020 15:03 | I've seen that sort of pricing behaviour with SHG a lot. The actual spread is much narrower than listed and both bid / offer can be distant from their listed levels. When they do change the listed pricing, it can make the price movement appear far more dramatic than reality. It seems to happen much more with SHG than any of the other stocks I'm invested. | lowtrawler
17/6/2020 13:49 | At present MM OFFERING 11.17P to BUY that's below mid 11.25p. Looks like there is MM's got plenty of stock to ofload.....imho. | rb1206
17/6/2020 11:34 | I thought the rules mean that any RNS has to be issued 'without delay', so if any of the deals go through they have to announce it as soon as practicably possible? The event tomorrow evening is an investor sales pitch, so I'd imagine it will be very similar to other recent ones. There may be a little more detail around time scales, but I'd imagine it would stated as something like 'due any day' rather than 'Thursday next week'. | space_bob
17/6/2020 11:28 | RNS on the completion of Barrick deal will be nice... | 338
17/6/2020 11:12 | I'm expecting an RNS either tomorrow or Friday as otherwise what's the point of him speaking that's not already in the public domain......hopefull | plentymorefish
17/6/2020 11:10 | what is Eric going to say tomorrow evening? More about financial plans I guess | 338
17/6/2020 07:12 | Some good info on history hxxps://www.voimagol | chestnuts
17/6/2020 07:11 | Redhill I know that but its still an asset of Shanta as it owns 51% Singida once this happens HOPE grows and so should the share price | chestnuts
17/6/2020 07:05 | chestnuts The $20 million for Singida is to be spent on developing the mine. | redhill
17/6/2020 06:53 | risa I know they have to pay a 2% royalty but even with paying that they still have bought the mine very very cheap. | chestnuts
17/6/2020 00:36 | chestnuts, Shanta will have to pay 2% NSR life of mine royalty. | risa5
16/6/2020 23:28 | I think 20p this year is probable, anything less would be a surprise. If gold continues up and SHG don't have any mishaps, it may even head into the 25p zone. It has the potential to move higher but not in a 12 month window. | lowtrawler
16/6/2020 22:25 | Just pointing it out, I don't think they're right either. I think it will be 20p in 10 weeks which is a 74% increase in share price If not by end of August then certainly by the end of the year. What are your thoughts? | space_bob
16/6/2020 22:21 | Space bob Singida if they sell 49% of it for $20m , all of a sudden Shanta hold $20m cash and a asset worth $20m That alone is worth 3,5p at current share price | chestnuts
16/6/2020 22:10 | Space bob Investors Chronicle are known for getting things wrong, Barrick have sold the kenya asset and taken 6.4% stake , this means this little asset they will still get a royalty out of it. every one wins. | chestnuts
16/6/2020 21:55 | This isn't the article I read but it values Kenya at 4c and Singida at 2c: "Meanwhile, West Kenya may add more to Shanta’s share price when the deal – worth $7m in cash and $7.5m-worth of shares – is completed mid year. House broker Numis Securities values it at 4ȼ a share, and Singida at 2ȼ a share." I follow a few gold miners and if anything Shanta lags their recent rises, so don't believe it's already priced in. That's 5p but I think due to the low liquidity it could really make the share price jump. And then there's all the other good news expected very soon and the gold price. I think 20p by the end of August is achievable. | space_bob
16/6/2020 21:28 | Space Bob Shanta are paying $11.86 an oz this is so cheap compared to 2013 gold in the ground prices Based on 253 gold deposits acquired from 1990-2013, Cipher calculated a median benchmark value for an ounce of gold in the ground at about $40 and established that 80% of the ounces were valued at less than $90 | chestnuts
16/6/2020 20:45 | Yes I'm sure of it. I only read it in the last week, just searched again for the article but can't find it. It stuck in my mind as I thought it strange for the broker to be using cents. It was just one analysts view, so not sure it should be given too much weight. | space_bob
16/6/2020 19:44 | space bob is the 3 cents correct | chestnuts |
