obmuj, it's not really important but I meant as was wishfully thought of as you posted, my post was probably not clear on that, but my point with which I think you agree was that HUR would not fit the bill

lol based on the fibs if we clear 144 (100%) the next resistance is the 138.2% at wait for it...........210.6p no resistance in between other than a top trend line at somewhere between 167p and 182p

I feel like each time I pull the handle three "gold" cherries just keeps repeating itself. Oh and to think I had some from 17p days and sold the lot. aaaargggghhhhh.

Very good results today but I think a lot of people have forgot about BP share of the cash from jan to end of March divide it in two ,

my post from earlier "I will not be surprised if we breach the all time high of 144 by the end of next week - admitedly some strong resistance at 134.4 - 135.5 but once gone, double top is on the cards" We are pushing at, and breaking through that resistance now :)

Online Telegraph article. Should appear in tomorrow's printed edition. https://www.telegraph.co.uk/business/2019/04/17/bp-deal-hands-serica-energy-five-fold-surge-profits/

BH - "still no chance imo of being acquired by SQZ as was the suggestion." I just want to clarify "I" did not suggest it was likely if you re-read my post. Wishful thinking (just for the record) or maybe you meant another post. God I wish I could get my hand son some more lose change for SQZ though.

Parkmead is probably going to be the one i'll be buying this year and the divi's come in. I need to research it somewhat more but see if Mr Cross can do another Dana.

Fardels, I agree (assume you mean Tom Cross?). Personally, I hope they stay independent.

The impression I get from looking at the presentation is that they are looking to grow by acquisition but the deals they are planning will be accretive rather than transformational like BKR. I like the chart on page 14 where they currently sit in 8th place among the independents operating on the UKCS. I reckon their target in the next 18 months will be to climb to 5th place. There must be a considerable number of bits and bobs in the portfolios of the national oil companies and majors where Serica can extract greater value. Serica seems to have lost its appetite for the drill bit, favouring production. The price performance of SQZ has largely been in the form of quantum leaps every time a deal has been done so more of the same would be something really to look forward to.

Let's go for both doubling by 2020 and then take it from there; also I will include RRE in that :)

HUR could go at any time, personally expect sometime 2020 after 6 months production H2 this year proves concept and then the bidding starts between the majors. I'm hoping for SQZ to more than double from here by the time they retain 100% production of BKR. Quadruple, £5 per share minimum. Time will tell.

Agreed dcarn, same here, SQZ is the safer bet and could easily double, HUR the riskier one but also with strong management and a good track record and could more than double if all continues to go to plan given the billions of barrels of reserves.

Moi aussi. 3 Years, no HUR. Hoping SQZ double.
