Let's go for both doubling by 2020 and then take it from there; also I will include RRE in that :)

HUR could go at any time, personally expect sometime 2020 after 6 months production H2 this year proves concept and then the bidding starts between the majors.

I'm hoping for SQZ to more than double from here by the time they retain 100% production of BKR. Quadruple, £5 per share minimum.

Time will tell.

Agreed dcarn, same here, SQZ is the safer bet and could easily double, HUR the riskier one but also with strong management and a good track record and could more than double if all continues to go to plan given the billions of barrels of reserves.

Moi aussi. 3 Years, no HUR. Hoping SQZ double.

Large holdings (for me) in both. I see SQZ as the safer bet but perhaps HUR has more potential if it all flows as expected. Anyway my plan is to retire off these two in 3-4 years, after SQZ full years results for 2021.

Agreed, we don't want HUR.

I don't think HUR is overpriced given the reserves and potential with a solid plan ahead, close to first oil at Lancaster and fully carried on the next 6 wells the first of which was spudded today, however SQZ are looking for assets which are currently producing so that excludes HUR.

I stand corrected on that! 🙃 I should have said HUR assets are not in the same region as those of SQZ.
...still no chance imo of being acquired by SQZ as was the suggestion.

BH, Hurricane is not NS but is definitely UKCS. From the HUR website "Hurricane’s assets are focussed on the Rona Ridge, in the West of Shetland region of the UK Continental Shelf." Not often you get something wrong. ;-)

Brief comment from Malcy today for the record:

"Serica

Not much to add following my last piece on Serica and if there is a meeting or conference call I haven’t been invited to join! Accordingly I can only repeat the bullish comments from CEO Mitch Flegg who expects continued extension of field life at the BKR assets which should go straight through to the bottom line."

That's far more likely ta and would make a lot of sense.

Nice thought obmuj but won't happen as HUR MC too high, not producing yet and not UKCS.

AT LAST!!!!
and just to clarify..............I always seem to have AIM stocks that go down on any good news so my excited statement is based on some good news for me on an AIM stock when compared with the disasters of the past I have endured....AFR, VOG, BLVN, SEY, GKP to name a few out of a catalogue of useless oilers.
I am heavily into HUR too which "could" be monumental but much riskier at the moment.
SQZ takeover of HUR (hardly I know) now there's a lovely thought.

SQZ has become a very solid investment which should generate good returns for well into the foreseeable future.

I was thinking the same thing. Very professionally set out. It's one of those things you can take for granted until you see a poor one, immediately smacks of rushed and ill thought out. This one's the opposite. Bodes well.

Yes whoever puts together the presentations does a very good job; it does help of course when there are so many positives to highlight.

plenty of hints indicating another accretive aquisition will be made assuming a value adding prospect in the UKCS area can be found

Note the big increase in Erskine reserves from 3.6 to 5.7 mmboe
