17/9/2018 08:51 | No position update on Seven Eagle. Last position eas north of Lomond on the 14th Sept. Has she gone or still there? Who knows GG | general george
15/9/2018 23:54 | 2020 used to feel so far away, not any more! ...and with a bit of luck Brexit may even be history, or maybe not the way things seem to be rumbing on ad infinitum! | bountyhunter
15/9/2018 17:31 | Plus possible inclusion in ftse 250 by 2020. | robo175
15/9/2018 16:09 | I can run with that sawney but also we have a massive "tax advantage for offsetting future tax liabilities ...plus a healthy erskine flow and then build in future acquisitions ...reckon that makes almsivs figures modest | nicnic1953
15/9/2018 09:22 | Says BP have 5.11% on the Serica website. Seven Eagle still at Lomond. Hopefully finishing up! Been gd to see the progress on marine traffic. | general george
15/9/2018 08:28 | Re the BP shareholding...I think it's a bit more than that....even if the deal didn't quite work out...I think they are in for the longer term...beyond BKR | sawney
14/9/2018 21:58 | That would be a bit like kicking a man while he was down, almsivi, don't you think? | fardels bear
14/9/2018 21:41 | End of next week sounds good. Sqz said it was all going to schedule. So hopefully we can get some cash rolling in from Erskine once more. | general george
14/9/2018 21:31 | Today, I realized something that's all but been forgotten about amidst all this speculation about the waiver. BP are sat on a sizeable chunk of Serica, 5%, which is worth many multiples of what it was worth when they sold their Erskine stake for it (3-6p) If BP had any fears that the waiver was going to fail, they would/should be offloading at least some of their stock as a derisking strategy. The fact they aren't means they expect its completion and they are not satisfied with the current return. I'd LOVE to know what share price BPs set to sell up at... | almsivi
14/9/2018 21:24 | Doesn't take very long at all. Restarting the plant will take longer, ultimately. I'd say... Producing by end of next week. Lol | almsivi
14/9/2018 19:49 | Hi Almsivi. Tks for ur reply. I wondered if the safety vessel had to be there while work was undertaken. Obviously what you said makes perfect sense. The schedule said Seven Eagle would be finishing on the 16th Sept. Hopefully we get some good news next week. Do you have an opinion on commisioning and start up timescales once the tie in is complete? Cheers GG | general george
14/9/2018 12:27 | Most operators use ERV sharing since the oil crash. If the standby vessel has moved towards the Everest (north of Lomond) it might be because a flight is due inbound and they need cover. Otherwise it could be to support the seven eagle if it needs handling. We regularly share our ERV with other platforms, very common to have them go off station. | almsivi
14/9/2018 09:23 | While Seven Eagle does it's thing, the safety vessel, Grampian Discovery has moved away from Lomond. Significant? | general george
13/9/2018 22:53 | Another reason today, if any more were needed, why Trump would be ill advised to let the UKs reliance on Russian gas increase. Is he perhaps concentrating on the wrong enemy? | fardels bear
13/9/2018 16:11 | Thanks to SW re Ensco 121 | sawney
13/9/2018 15:49 | I had it written down somewhere that the Ensco 121 was contracted for the spud - can't remember where I heard / read that from - anyone corroborate? | almsivi

13/9/2018 15:07 | The reverse takeover deal outlines that BP are funding the cost of the R3 workover in exchange for a greater share of any production increase. The longer it takes to build and flow R3 - the smaller BP's share is. | almsivi
13/9/2018 13:29 | Not sure BP would've sold to SQZ if they thought the IOC were going to sell up... Curious to know how R3 is now going to work out as BP will be disconnected from Rhum by November | sawney
13/9/2018 11:30 | Calling dibs on the first dance with Theresa ;-) | captainfatcat
13/9/2018 11:26 | I think BDT statement taking IOC share is a bit far fetched. Can't see that happening at all | general george
13/9/2018 11:23 | I fear that is their 'no deal' plan | bountyhunter
13/9/2018 11:21 | I foresee in years to come, Punch and Judy will be replaced by Jean-Claude et Thérès C'est la façon de le faire! | fardels bear |
