We had similar just before the Total deal was announced.
We slowly started rising.

I'm hoping this is the same for waiver news, which surely is imminent.
IF a waiver RNS did drop, I don't think you would see anything under £1.

With 26k boepd more like 125p-140p

General, as I have said before, I think it is unlikely that they would be proceeding with the staff transfers and the new recruitment posts, together with the new HQ in Aberdeen if they weren't reasonably sure of both deals completing. Having said that, there is still a degree of risk that the OFAC waiver will not be granted, the consequence of which, we are all well aware of!

I think it may go to the wire though, as the current BP waifer was granted at the end of Sept last year, but was to run from 4th Nov 2017, so maybe we will have to wait until Sept to see if a new waiver is granted.

Id love a waiver RNS to go with the opening!

Joking aside, with talks at advance stage, do you really think they would worl on and then announce the Total deal if there were very serious doubts?

Hopefully just a few weeks more to wait.
