Yeah but I'll be honest I've never 'liked' them Namibia assets!
I remember being up coast a bit about 18-19 years ago and the government couldn't give away the offshore blocks then!!
I've got a real funny story about that but not for posting on woefully formatted free bbs!

Steady on Dh...I once sold 85000 CHAR at 21p finally convinced there was no oil south of the Walvis Ridge. The shares went to 230p before collapsing and we still don't know if there's any oil south of the Walvis Ridge.

£85k buy went through earlier, lots of other larger buys as well.
Hotting up.

There aren't many sellers at these levels, I expect the high to go over the next few sessions.

Remember HQ open in 10 days, and talks with OFAC in the final stages.
Waiver drops and it will be Christmas comes early.

With the UK government involved and a UK law already in place, accommodating an escrow account, and protecting Iranian funds and property rights, looks to be a good solution.

Deal almost certain done, looks like farm out with total hence sqz got good deal with total, I’m gonna put my head out and say 100p closing today, it’s simply too cheap

I think everyone will have to be around the table.

Everyone is ignoring the US it seems. China, India have pledged to continue buying Iran's oil. No the EU have confirmed this.

Lets see what happens next.....

150p was my guess earlier, but I expect that to be reached soon after BKR & BK deal completions which I would expect/hope to be before year end, currently anticipated 30/9 if no delays

There was a fair amount of buying this morning.
I know I'm not selling.

I expect you will see the proper volume when the waiver lands, and when the deal completes.

Remember talks with the OFAC, UK government, BP and Serica are at an advanced stage. The Waiver RNS could drop any minute.

I guess it depends if you think 5-10% of the UK's gas supply will be allowed to be cut off, possibly permanently.

Personally I don't think there is a cat in hells chance of that happening, especially as a ready made solution is written into UK law.

Incredible to think SQZ will be producing 26k boepd by the end of the year.

Huge opportunity here.

I also note no major holder has been selling a bean.

I wouldn't be surprised to see this at 150p year end.
