06/8/2018 10:55 | Morning GG, yes quite right, that and ultimately identifying the right time to sell. Glad I didn't have those extra Irish Whiskies now as no hangover and still have euros in my pocket for a nice lunch before returning home! | bountyhunter
06/8/2018 10:40 | Hi BH, Hopefully by the end of Q3 :) Waiting and do nothing is the hardest part of investing. | general george
06/8/2018 10:36 | 150p was my guess earlier, but I expect that to be reached soon after BKR & BK deal completions which I would expect/hope to be before year end, currently anticipated 30/9 if no delays | bountyhunter
06/8/2018 10:33 | Isn't that what I said? | fardels bear
06/8/2018 10:31 | 12 days before the new HQ is handed over. Currently IT is being installed. GG | general george
06/8/2018 10:28 | There was a fair amount of buying this morning. I know I'm not selling. I expect you will see the proper volume when the waiver lands, and when the deal completes. Remember talks with the OFAC, UK government, BP and Serica are at an advanced stage. The Waiver RNS could drop any minute. I guess it depends if you think 5-10% of the UK's gas supply will be allowed to be cut off, possibly permanently. Personally I don't think there is a cat in hells chance of that happening, especially as a ready made solution is written into UK law. Incredible to think SQZ will be producing 26k boepd by the end of the year. Huge opportunity here. I also note no major holder has been selling a bean. I wouldn't be surprised to see this at 150p year end. | general george
06/8/2018 10:27 | topped up? | bountyhunter
06/8/2018 10:25 | I think that was on Friday lol! | dunderheed
06/8/2018 10:25 | I think we had it on Friday, when we needed it to support a large rise. Today, we don't seem to need large volume. All the press announcements talk about sanctions, so those not already sold on the story may just sit and wait to see how that plays out. | fardels bear
06/8/2018 10:10 | Where is the volume ? | winston8643
06/8/2018 08:06 | also in the Express... | bountyhunter
06/8/2018 08:06 | Thanks for that Rivaldo...I was wondering why there was a sharp start this morning.... | sawney
06/8/2018 07:59 | Lets see if he announces reopening of talks....... I'm not sure he has much choice...... | general george
06/8/2018 07:55 | Blimey with press like that looking really good now. We need to significantly catch up from previous highs as a lot of other oilers have done! Shame I've only got about 300k from nearly 900k but made over 100% on them so a profits a profit. Nicnic yes I think we 'suffer' the same family circumstances LOL! Best of luck all! | dunderheed
06/8/2018 07:38 | Tipped in the Mail for the record: "BUY THIS: Serica Energy Serica is on Peel Hunt's buy list after the oil and gas firm bought two key North Sea assets from Total for £15.4million. Analysts believe the deal will not knock earnings, but could boost Serica's financials, highlighting its 'ability to identify and execute on commercial opportunities that have potential to add substantial value, where others might see complexity'." | rivaldo
05/8/2018 23:47 | I enjoy a Guinness now and again and when ever I do I always say the Guinness mantra "Good things come to those who wait" which harks back to my EEN days There was a lot of "Tick follows tock follows tick" back then. | captainfatcat
05/8/2018 23:43 | Mine are all in my ISA... | fardels bear
05/8/2018 22:49 | LG u r right which is why I'm off to Phil for 4 months , ì can follow this lot out there ...plenty of job offers for next year but I would rather use personal allowance to offset selling chunks of this ..but still want to be partly here for 2021 ..happy days | nicnic1953
05/8/2018 22:39 | 65 this year, eh nic? About time you started spending it and sod the tax. We won't live forever. | lord gnome
05/8/2018 22:08 | Sean,bh I sincerely hope your predictions materialise if so my sipps will be pushing 1030000 and thereafter 55% tax rate as I understand ? | nicnic1953
05/8/2018 21:49 | Way over £1 when completed, min £1.50 imo Cheers! not really the 'black' stuff, it's ruby red, as you can see above; another thing I learnt today! | bountyhunter
05/8/2018 21:33 | Final resolution of BP deal should see the share price over the 100p Mark | seangwhite
05/8/2018 21:19 | Didn't see that LG but you are absolutely right about the Stag & Hen parties - not so much tonight but all over the Temple Bar area last night! Sadly the family dragged me out of the Temple Bar itself earlier where I could have very easily enjoyed several more glasses of their own brand of Irish Whiskey given half a chance! Back at the hotel now negotiating a visit to the hotel bar for a final pint of the black stuff before flying back to reality tomorrow. Sláinte! ( learnt that at the Guiness Storehouse earlier :) | bountyhunter
05/8/2018 21:00 | Temple Bar, Dublin. The stag and hen night capital of the world. Gallagher's Boxty House (excuse spelling?) still going? | lord gnome
05/8/2018 19:49 | 90p tomorrow? Been some good press over the weekend..... | general george |
