27/6/2015 22:33 | dinner expense wasted, isanboi! LOL. Even a purchase of 1.6 million shares by Majedie Asset Management on 19June hasn't helped. Looking at the chart, there has been a relentless fall in share price since Rupert Soames became CEO. This in an environment most propitious for Serco -- favoured outsourcing sector, bullish stockmarket, recovery prospects, growing market, low inflation/interest rate etc etc. Soames has been in saddle for a year now and has not shown any results except for a successful rights issue. Serco needs a better ceo like Harriet Green who turned around fortunes of Th Cook within weeks. Here is hoping for some institutional pressure. AIMHO. | junglee

25/6/2015 00:11 | Shawzie is not an accountant, nor is he/she a stock market enthusiast? | mbmiah
24/6/2015 18:27 | Is that with the RI money?... | diku
24/6/2015 14:01 | Not being an accountant, can someone advise me why Serco is still allowed to trade? At the end of 2014, liabilities exceeded assets by about £60million, showing negative equity. Is this not over trading and illegal? | shawzie
23/6/2015 15:00 | Been oversold for sometime so probably a bounce based on that, if 120p revisited and holds that could be a buy signal but we may have seen the bottom, time will tell | davethehorse
23/6/2015 12:46 | Any takeover rumours out there?... | diku
23/6/2015 12:19 | So the dinner seems to have been digested. Ha, Ha! Chart shows no resistance till 145-50. And with all the bad results rumours already in the price, it is what they say on the outlook that will be instrumental in future progress of share price First target ex-rights price of 154. AIMHO. 23/6/2015 12:13 | 120p was a gift. Just like the Dax at 10800 was last week. The market doesn't ring a bell at the bottom. | dealy
23/6/2015 11:50 | Too late, she's blowing :-0 | mbmiah
22/6/2015 18:41 | That may have been the bottom- watching for now. | mbmiah
22/6/2015 09:33 | Share price certainly seems to think so and I will buy if it does. | hybrasil
22/6/2015 08:56 | Is the RI price coming?... | diku
20/6/2015 21:35 | Taking sentiment into consideration I think 101 (rights issue price) would have to be the safest entry price here. Not sure if we will get there though. DYOR | mbmiah
20/6/2015 15:50 | 720m of the current 1300m market cap has been raised in new money in the last 2 years. Surely after such a large capital injection the company is positioned to take up opportunities and generate normal returns on capital. | dealy
19/6/2015 10:52 | Todays feature in the respected Holway's report is titled, "Serco's one step back, but two steps forward". It starts with the possible disposal of BPO business in India. The story concludes by saying, "Sir Roy is a clearly a high calibre person to be taking over the helm. He will sit alongside CE Rupert Soames, who has had to take some tough decisions, and yet whose management style is having positive effect on morale. On balance, it appears to one-step back, but two-steps forward." Looks like one effect of dinner! AIMHO. DYOR. | junglee |
