I see Mr Farrige is now wetting himself at the quadrupling in the number of migrants now entering the uk. Those who opposed brexit, and wanted to remain in Europe, did tell him that once we were out, we would have absolutely no influence over the French and their efforts to hold migrants on their side of the channel. Brexit appears to have delivered exactly the predicted result. He’s kicking off about Serco earning a crust in providing a service to the Government but the service Serco provides is a product of his policy - he advocated leaving the EU. Everyone knew that a consequence of this would be more migrants arriving from France. so why is he whinging?

Salty.

I’m sure they will pay the divi at some point in the next six months. And, a bit like a direct Line earlier this week, they’ll pay a ‘catch-up special too’. And they’ll do this, just as the management teams’ stock options and RSU grants are about to vest.

I’m almost certain this will be what happens.

Salty.

Yes crazy times, I don't where the government is getting the money when it more or less said it was bankrupt in March?

Nigel is on a mission. Unfortunately Serco are the firing line between Nigel and the Government and are likely to be wounded in the crossfire. Might be worth putting on a steel helmet, whilst taking cover until the dust settles?

You did indeed Ducktack.Good call. Contrary to my earlier optimism, I am not keen on the bad press that seems to be ramping up recently. Doesn't look like it's likely to go away anytime soon. Might be time to bank some profits?

Very interesting that this price seems to be a continuation of the lower, parallel trendline if you join the low in late April and June with this one.

so for a 2% divi they take a 16% risk? This obsession with dividends has to end. Dividends are a function of earnings

I wonder whether income fund managers had bought in ahead of results and then had to offload as no divi announced.

Topped up.

Now the biggest holding in my SIPP.

'Exceptional Financial Performance'.

So many government Contracts all over the world.
High profit margins.
Strong balance sheet.

For me it's one to take a fair stake in and tuck it away.
