Very true Logan, it's a cheap share to buy if u believe gold will rise. I believe it will rise :))

Gold rising in price by just $100 brings in around an extra $3.8mln, much of which goes straight to the bottom line as profit.

News of the x-ray sorter, increased production, finding a nugget the size of a small car etc would help the share price more I think!

Frustrating here atm but ducks do seem to be lining up. Q4 results need to be good as they have alluded to in Q3, and let's hope they sold the concentrate left in q3 with POG higher rather than lower...

I have emailed Serabi about marketing, delivering better shareholder value and lack of director buying and received a polite response from Clive Line the financial director. He is going to talk with Mike and get a more detailed response back to me next week. It does sound like they are planning a bigger marketing push on social media. I mentioned that I thought the company was very undervalued and if better marketed they could attract a lot more new shareholders. I will share my email response next week with the group. I have a feeling a big PR push is coming guys and some exciting news :))

Virtually all the rise in the price of Gold goes straight to the bottom line as profit for any gold miner.

Agreed PPVN, serabi has potential from production and lots of exploration upside. I think its being missed by a Lot of people and compared to other exploration/junior mining companies its in quite a solid position financially. It does has a fairly tight cash burn compared to a lot of aim companies. I will keep adding as and when cash frees up. Quarterlies next or the following week. Plus we might get an exploration update also and the reserves update. If u look back over years u can see there assets/resources growing quite nicely.

Nobody liked solgold for years either and that did ok from 2016...

That's more to do with Dr. Copper, but if gold is to have a run, Serabi could become interesting again. Potential wirh both the mine production and the exploration is what keeps me here, boring as it may be for the moment.

Gold looking good today, might crack $1300. I remember a few years back when gold went over 1300 Serabi gold went up 200-300% quite quickly on the back of gold

I've been reading this board for months and no one mentions the lack of promotion of the company. This was an issue identified by the former directors of Kenai Resources. There's no action (interest) in the stock.

Hopefully yesterday's surprise volume allowed a few stale holders out at a double-bottom and a few new people/money in - much needed potential winners IMHO. I guess if MH is too explicit a funding gap becomes obvious? The art is probably to let the share price hopefully get walked-up over the coming months on the back of news flow and improving results before the bigger plans become obvious? We need to get back to the 72p area?! tightfist

Q4 production was January 18th last year so I guess we should get the RNS next week for quarterlies

Marginally better than greenstone. Whilst currently looking ugly in my PF I'm actually not too concerned about this one. I'm very bullish gold so as and when they do up production/profit it should be fine. Hardly any shares trade so it could realistically jump significantly on small cash values by anyone buying in.

The only reason I've not topped up more at these levels is the lack of director buying. I have a rather outsize position in this name as I do think it's an undervalued company, but without Mike putting some cash in to back up his optimistic podcasts I'm hesitant. Once bitten, twice shy!

Hi Tightfist, yes the ore sorter technology will definitely help to production levels/grade and profitability. Was listening to the october/November webcasts with Mike Hobson on the website last night and he is very excited on the exploration side. It sounds like to that they have found something quite substantial. Will attach links here for new prospective investors. Also I did a few tweets and twitter to try and help spread the word how undervalued this share really is.

Hi Laptop,

Good to see you around, hopefully there are a few like you, we only need a few on a tightly-held share.

IMHO don’t overlook the Ore Sorter technology; I have a gut feeling (and better) that will become a substantial part of their plan/achievement when it is commissioned over the next few months.

With the advent of Coringa I had now seen a plant at Sao Chico as a lot less likely. There’s a lot to become clearer in 2019; I presume tha Greenstone did their homework!

Cheers, tightfist

Just bought 3k worth as I like the narrowing bollinger bands and the fast that RSI now oversold. Also the fact that in old share price terms its 1.74p which is crazy cheap considering the last strategic placing was at 3.6p. So buying now is at a huge discount. Gold looking strong and Quarterlies are only a week or 2 away. Plus with resource news and exploration news due this quarter there is plenty of other news due. $15 million cash in the bank as from end of September so not in a bad position imo.

Hi Tightfist,

Agreed, and we've discussed this in the past. Serabi have been very quick to promise jam tomorrow, but like you I'd like to see better profitability in the here and now. They make enough to cover operating cost but not much more; this could change either with a sustained uptick in the POG or with better efficiency at the plant. They have the scrubber now that will help process the historical tailings, the sorter should be set up soonish; this should all help. But I'm still scratching my head as to how they can near enough double production at Sao Chico and Palito with the plans they have revealed thus far.

They did however manage to pull out the ace when greenstone et.al. invested here at the equivalent of 72p. They can't get a placing away (I'd guess) so unless liquidity and/or the share price materially improves, the balance of Coringa that's due at the end of the year could be a major headache. Fair while to go for that though so not too concerned at this point in time. I doubt the other major holders would take to a fundraise at these prices. Not many shares have traded down at these levels so it could spring back just as quickly; we shall see.

Does rather strike me that they might be shoring up resource for a sale; they certainly have a big enough resource area to explore.

Hi PPVN,I just wonder what the cashflow projections look like? It's lots of fun gaining insight to more resources...... but IMHO they need to get the ore sorter up and running at Pallito and substantially improving H2 short-term cashflow within current mill capacity. After that the substantial final payment for Coringa becomes due (at the end of 2019?). With the share price at only 48% of when Greenstone came on board it currently looks tricky?PoG, gold funds and large/mega MC shares are on a roll for the time being, maybe some of that largesse will filter down-market in a couple of months? In the short term maybe we will see some money dribble out but illiquidity in SRB deters that in any size?Wait and see in 2019, tightfist

Yeah it should be late q1. Per the October operation review RNS: "...have also timetabled to issue an updated mineral resource estimate late in the first quarter of 2019".

The x-ray sorter should also become operational soon so we'll see. Hopefully gold can continue upward and they can start actually booking some decent dollar.

Cheers PPVN, do u think the exploration results and resource updates might land in Q1? Looking at the results they are still good for cash at the moment I think

Would think next update will be q4 production results. Should be better (volume of gold) than q3 was and gold in BRL seemed ok. They also have exploration results and resource updates to go. I'm still here and still hopeful but it is very thinly traded so do bear that in mind. If they are able to achieve their stated goals it could be a great little investment, but I did rather think that a while ago so take any comments with a hefty pinch of salt!
