I see from the agm RNS that they have passed a resolution to 'purchase own shares', does this mean that they will do 'share buy backs'?

Since Rollins left in 2015 it hasn't looked as strong but in fairness to the BOD there has been a lot of macro headwinds, plus the sector is to a degree cyclical.

Completely agree.Bought these about 7 years ago for 194 and made decent profit. Just kicking myself for missing the recent low around the same level. Will keep a closer eye on it.

A buy on a long term basis, 5 years plus, the current price
is relatively attractive. If you are astute/lucky enough to buy in the depths
of a bear market, your returns on a stock like Senior can be dramatically enhanced.

The very long term chart where you can look at the share price over the last 30 years,
underscores this point. The share price has been hammered in the last 3 downturns,
followed by incredible % increases.

It may develop differently next time, but would expect something along similar lines - just my take.

Yeah I'd go with that... I'm viewing this as a potential topup opputunity myself :)

I guess today is due to Boeing downgrade and 737 issues.

I bought shares in their 1993 RI for Flexonics, a long time ago!.
personally think they should exit that division, sold the French business
recently.

Boeing production is 52 aircraft monthly from Seattle, the majority
now thought to be 737 Max.

Prior to this incident there was talk of potentially increasing units from June 19.

Think this may be a reaction to Ford news of cutting 5,000 jobs in Germany and UK.Their flexonics was always likely to be the elephant in the room for 2019.

Well something very fundamental changes if production of the Max is halted (for any length of time)
currently Boeing are keeping to schedule from my understanding.

SNR have invested heavily in CAPEX as per the comments at the FY results.
So would expect there is high operational gearing here?.

Yep... not got the funds lined up yet, but not too worried with a dip as i'd be happy to buy while at lower levels.

Results were good so even if fell more i'd still be happy to add so long as nothing fundamental changes.

There's a strong case for divesting Flexonics imv.
Unfortunately I'm old enough to remember when they acquired it, around 1992.

Don't think Brexit is a factor here. 83% of sales are abroad of which 50% is USA.

Think its a 'V' shaped recovery, no reason for the fall except Brexit worries maybe.

Should have gone in heavier here, currently up 20% on January's buy and chart looking good for a 'V' shaped recovery
