Where is the pressure coming from to sell out - the only way this is going to get up to those sorts of valuations are for us to announce contracts but most of all ramp up our sales as the RFQs cone home to roost.I'm of the view that we hold out and stay independent as long as possible - the fact that we have contracts with 16 Tier 1s and growing should help protect us

Ali - with the ongoing consolidation in the industry (for eg. mag, vioneer and qual) I envisage SEE becoming a must have provider for whoever ends up winning. To cement the lead in the DMS/OMS field, having SEE in house strengthens that position.

If SEE stays independent then great but I imagine there will be a lot of pressure to sell out.

We need six months tho to be able to a sensible valuation on each vertical - might be the difference between a value of $1bn and say $3bn imo.

What we need is the share price to push on…

Drunk-driving provision could fuel demand for driver monitoring technology.
"What’s happening in the U.S. Senate this week potentially opens the door to a camera-based real-time solution, which will be the first time that the U.S. automakers will have the ability and the requirement to look at real-time physiological changes in your body that occur when you are inebriated,” Dr. Mike Lenné, chief science and innovation officer at Seeing Machines told TechCrunch. “There are distinct reliable changes to the way you scan the environment, to the way your eyes respond to stimuli, which is why the police use that ‘follow the finger’ test.”...
