They don't have any tech for DMS. A well balanced piece of fruit will trick the car into believing the driver is paying attention.

I have driven a standard model 3 with self driving. It is certainly not smooth. probably safe, although I didn't feel safe. Lane drifting, strange choices as to which lane to follow with a subsequent correction.
Overall I would make a tesla my next car, but not because of self driving

Elon thinks the computer knows better, but the reality is that there are simply too many edge cases.
It was possible to drive coast to coast USA 20 years ago - with full self driving for 98% of the time. Is it now 99%?
Either way it is all about the edge cases.

The problem with a deal with Tesla is that they could want a continuous NDA as they would hate to admit that their own tech wasn't good enough.

I should have added that Veoneer s earnings update was more positive than expected with relatively short term delays(3 months) on about half of their products -so should bode well for us .
We could do with sone pre results contract news & confirmation that a fund raise remains off agenda & our share price may ,at last ,start moving forward

I would rather a deal to supply our DMS to Tesla which I reckon would double our share price immediately & create much more interest in our little company & our value would increase rapidly as we would be recognised by The Market as tech leaders in this area of expertise .
I would be happy to be bought but only following a substantial increase in our value

Can see both sides of that discussion.Instant recognition which would be great. However Elon would find a way to shift the blame and some Tesla owners will try anything to fool the system. Of course if the data is retrievable after an accident then it'll exonerate Tesla if the driver is sleeping.Ive just argued full circle there, on balance it would be good if SEE and Tesla did a deal.

Looking for 3.1/3.2 to go today... won’t be confident the uptrend is still in place until 3.5 is breached, for good.

Nice to see the US broker note... with an share price target same as vendors (uncanny, like they are working together).

Not expecting any news until late July/Early Aug as PR lady OOO until then.

It is alive, a heartbeat yes I can feel it.
SEE is a sleeping giant.
Or just asleep, one of those statements is true!

Shareholder since 2008 - explains my insane ravings.

I was a young man back then, I deserve a medal and for my hair to grow back, but I would be happy with the story to begin its final chapter, you know, the one when we can all live happily ever after.

SEE - Stifel Nicolaus's rating of IDEX Biometrics ASA on 7/21/2020
Stifel USA note
"We value Seeing Machines on a 6.5x EV/Sales basis based on our FY23E forecasts and set a target price of 7p/share. SM has already secured over A$200m of automotive contracts, with the peak of revenues recognised between FY23-FY25E. As a result, in order to account for DMS contracts already won, we base our valuation on our FY23 forecasts. Key risks to our thesis include the need to raise funds; order push outs; regulatory changes; competition; and market disruption."

They base targets and buy rate for the next 12 months.
"BUY -We expect a total return of greater than 10% over the next 12 months with total return equal to the percentage price change plus dividend yield."

Harmless though, just Paul McGlone stalking and downvoting all posts after he missed his bonus this year.
