10/7/2020 12:29 | egrid1 don't blame you in the slightest always good to take a profit, especially when poorly researched. Understanding bluster and BS (typical Musk) is central to share-trading. Meanwhile how level 3 operates in Tesla is inferior to that of Ford's coPilot360 which is probably (unless the SEE RNS's of the past are BS?) SEE tech sitting behind the infotainment system | zero the hero
10/7/2020 11:54 | Well on the basis of that story, I decided to sell out, whilst still a little ahead. | egrid1
10/7/2020 11:39 | Egrid,I'm sure you are correct DMS will be obsolete before it arrives and all the cars will be autonomous.
I hope someone tells the regulators in Europe and US not to bother mandating our tech from 2024 as unless that's 24 mins past 8pm tonight its too late as we are obsolete | seeing2020
10/7/2020 09:28 | Don't worry we'll get a tweet about Ron Finemore soon and it'll all be ok. | baggariddim
10/7/2020 09:25 | Elon Musk claiming that they will have the basics for class5 automation by the end of the year. That will be totally driverless cars.
"US electric vehicle maker Tesla is 'very close' to achieving complete autonomous driving technology, CEO Elon Musk said on Thursday, referring to the capability to navigate roads without any driver input.
'I'm extremely confident that level 5 or essentially complete autonomy will happen and I think will happen very quickly,' Musk said in remarks made via a video message at the opening of Shanghai's annual World Artificial Intelligence Conference."

How does this impact on SEE?
Is their technology used in cars, beyond monitoring the driver? If not, that line of business could very quickly become obsolete. Is this the problem with the SEE share price? The market know that their technology will be demanded too late to make a commercial success of it, before it is obsolete. | egrid1
09/7/2020 20:33 | Interesting industry related news,

08/7/2020 17:39 | Although DMS won’t be mandated until 2024 we now know that Europe & US will have the same timescales & manufacturers will want to distinguish themselves from the competition & my hope is that many models will contain our chip which can be easily activated as required.
Trading Update early next month will be interesting & lets hope ,despite the market malaise ,that PM can issue a confident statement & reaffirm that a fundraiser is not expected | base7
08/7/2020 15:42 | The buys did continue but at the end the UT was @ 3.30p

08/7/2020 14:30 | A good string of buyer for some time this afternoon and the share price has corrected the marked down during the morning | master rsi
08/7/2020 11:04 | Agree there are good contributions on here and are much appreciated. Also agree the latest announcement sounds ok - there are many good companies taking a big hit on revenues right now so for see to predict no major impacts is a good place To be. | drsandwich
08/7/2020 10:29 | An investment in Seeing is pretty binary. You either believe the story and accept the stringent NDA principles in place or you don't.There have been bumps along the way some of the company's own making others based on the wider ecology.I'm invested for the long term and if See can navigate a challenging next 12 months without too many bruises it should be well placed to reward long term patient (suffering!) shareholders.I post here but normally use the LSE site for my reading on See but always nice to see Lewbo and Seeing2020 pop over here occasionally too! | abid6814
08/7/2020 10:22 | I've noticed the thumbs down too Lewbo. Very strange behaviour. Possibly Smokey Joe or Stevey boy? | shallwe
08/7/2020 10:14 | Yes - bewildering - why on earth are they here! | skinny
08/7/2020 10:06 | Re: people giving some posts a thumbs down.Looks like you have to be a premium member here to do that. There are a few here and seem to do it even to links about SEE. Strange? | lewbo18
08/7/2020 09:32 | I think it’s quite hard to predict how the technology will compete in several years time - there are others working hard in this space. If it was a simple picture of Worldwide Demand for dms Driving sales for see then I think the share price would be much higher. I guess the numbers in the statements will speak for themselves sooner or later. | drsandwich
08/7/2020 09:19 | Succint post Lewbo18. | skinny
08/7/2020 09:05 | Trader, not sure what you wanted included in the rns apart from what they said?I thought it was positive. SEE cant tell you its the Ford F150 or Mach-E. Ford themselves only tell you whats in it at launch. Remember SEE contract with the T1, not with the OEM. Veoneer have not said they have a DMS system with Ford. They say as SEE do, "with a major US based international oem".So NDAs are in play. Until they are not. Which in the case of GM it was when the CT6 was on the road. Perhaps going forward those NDAs may change.SEYE have a much better PR set up but notice they havent said which OEM they are in until they are on the road. Having said that apparently they are on the road in 6 or more cars but consider the press they have compared with the CT6 alone. I cant name SEYE wins? The only T2 that has stated an OEM at win stage was SEYE with Geely. But thats gone quiet now.Sorry about the long read here but SEE are quietly going about their business which i agree is frustrating which we all feel. | lewbo18
08/7/2020 07:22 | Lewbo is one of those annoying people who is usually right, mostly all the time, ignore him at your peril. In my 5 years in SEE, I have unfortunately learnt the they very rarely issue an RNS, let alone one that is of a stratospheric nature. However, if you believe in their technology being world beating, and the demand for this technology in all travel sectors, then stick around, but as usual, DYOR. | shallwe
