06/11/2019 17:37 | Very happy to have attended the CMD today, feel very confident moving forward. Great presentation by semicast on why SEE is in the right place at the right time. | seans66
06/11/2019 10:57 | PM's statement is interesting: "We continue to work with Aviation partners to develop commercial relationships to accelerate mass-market opportunities for our Crew Training System. Our strategy is now set in three major transport verticals - Automotive, Fleet / Offroad and Aviation - each with a significant growth trajectory and a refined business model. Importantly, this provides diversification in cash generation and minimises risk around timing, segment and customer concentration." After the Alaska Airlines RNS there was speculation that that was the big news we are waiting for, another damp squib! However this statement tells me Alaska was just a sideshow. The plural, and the emphasis on "significant growth trajectory" tells me there is much more to come. Just give us some numbers SEE!!! | zero the hero
06/11/2019 10:45 | Now that is a large trade just gone through, and the price does not budge. A worked sell of 13800000 from the last couple of days is my guess based on the matching smaller large trades at 4.6 that have happened at the same price and also not budged the share price Could easily be the other way round of course and does not really matter. Back to the RNS, the element that is lacking is hard facts. The company hide behind NDA's too often but with Fleet why can't the numbers be given? This company just do not care about the Investors and it shows in each and every RNS. | zero the hero
06/11/2019 10:32 | The orders will be delivered in batches. I imagine it's a large order that will be delivered over the foreseeable future until any further design or unit changes. The key aspect of this specific announcement is that the cost saving is material and significant in the context of what we know about a)current cash b) uncertainty around what takes us to break even and profit without further fundraising c) an aviation licencing deal/s should further reassure when confirmed further dilution unlikely.Looking forward to hearing what comes out of the CMD. | abid6814
06/11/2019 10:26 | I hear you and just because they may be ordering 40m worth of stuff, doesn't equate to bottom line revenue, as they could be selling each at a loss. Or, they could have over estimated orders for 2020 and be left with millions of stock. Still, all that said, the stuff with insurance companies is very interesting. Safety might remain the key driver of Guardian, but if the cost of implementation moves closer to net neutral through cheaper fleet insurance (anyone know how much it costs to insure a fleet of lorries) the financial reasons for using Guardian become a lot more compelling. As you say though, all speculation (but atleast positive speculation supported by strong 'historical' revenue growth). | mdchand
06/11/2019 09:08 | We shouldn’t have to derive numbers tho MD - and from that we cannot calculate number of installations and cost per unit. It just wouldn’t be hard to provide a monthly update.... unless it’s not really going up. | rjcdc
06/11/2019 08:52 | Perhaps they did give us numbers. A 21% saving of $8.4m for Guardian implies an order of $40m for the next calendar year 2020. This compares to FY 2019 (to Jun 2019) sales of $13.7m for Guardian. A pretty sizeable jump indeed, with a lot of recurring income subscriptions.....or is that too simplistic? Happy to be corrected. | mdchand
06/11/2019 08:05 | They just keep refusing to give us hard numbers.... how difficult would it be to say there are x installations currently? | rjcdc
06/11/2019 07:56 | I can't work out the maths but it does look like Fleet is now firing on all cylinders according to some LSE posters with a far better judgement than me | mirabeau
06/11/2019 07:52 | Very positive statement & probably a bit too early in FY20 to increase expectations for revenue & fleet units to be installed by 30/6/20.Quiet on Aviation & I am sure PM will be questioned extensively about the imminent licencing contract-which I reckon will still be "imminent" but clearly with an extended timescale-which may result in PM being a little less enthusiastic (publicly) about deals not yet signed.Planned on attending todays CMD but unfortunately I have had to cancel so looking forward to feedback from any posters who are attending. | base7

04/11/2019 14:31 | That’s a nice platform for the share price to launch from... much more preferable to the one below 4p.. News to fuel the launch.... | rjcdc
31/10/2019 09:17 | That’s a sign alright... I was thinking the least we would get is some sort of trading update although that would be against the grain for them.... Just feel like they could do more to maintain momentum - even if it’s just fleet numbers (20k yet?).... | rjcdc
31/10/2019 08:42 | Chances of a stellar RNS ahead of the CMD are receding as now only 4 trading days to go -although we live in hope .A trading update at least confirming that FY 20 has started well & ,at least ,Fleet is expected to exceed expectations .As we know -always best to over achieve than over promise & we are currently in dangerous territory whereby PM has over promised .He needs to pull a rabbit (or two) out of the bag by next week to justify the CMD &cost of him & Team travelling to London next week.Lets hope they have contracts to sign by CMD | base7
31/10/2019 08:08 | Volume completely dropped off, no buy or sell pressure it seems... Just sitting still, waiting for a sign. Zzz | rjcdc

Thermo Fisher Scientific, USA Hort-Eye Pty Ltd Australian National Fabrication Facility Limited Melbourne Centre for Nanofabrication Questacon - Seeing Machines is on this pretty exclusive list of research universities and institutions - RE: 2020 Arc Centre of Excellence etalToday 22:45 Very exciting for SEE and its area of expertise The Australian National University has been given a grant of $34.9 million by the Federal Government to set up the Australian Research Council Centre of Excellence for Transformative Meta-Optical Systems. The centre will research monitoring systems for safer driving, moving holograms on smartphones and super-fast light-based WiFi. Other institutions partnering in the project are the University of Melbourne, the University of Technology Sydney, RMIT University, and the University of Western Australia, as well as industry and universities from six other countries. Professor Dragomir Neshev, who will head the research centre, said it would make Australia a leader in optical technologies for the fourth industrial revolution. “We will help create optical systems that empower autonomous vehicles, artificial intelligence, augmented reality, wearable sensors and remote sensing," he said. “The centre will help develop real-time monitoring systems for driver fatigue to keep people safe on our roads. It will lead to smaller, smarter, faster and cheaper wearable optical sensors to better monitor our health. “It will also produce holographic displays and augmented reality for more immersive and powerful education in our classrooms, and laser tech that makes autonomous vehicles better at predicting and avoiding hazards. “And it will underpin light-based WiFi – which is a thousand times faster than current technologies – to be used in our mobile phones and laptops.” ANU Provost Professor Mike Calford said: “This research centre will help revolutionise how light is used in ways that can have significant impacts for everyday Australians. “This includes less invasive medical diagnostic tools that scatter light through the body to detect disease. “This revolutionary new centre will help strengthen Australia’s very own knowledge economy – setting up a global epicentre for light-based research and development that will develop the products of tomorrow, today. “Currently, light underpins industry worth approximately $1000 billion to the world economy. “This transformational leap will make Australia’s economy stronger, enrich daily lives and create a safer environment that cannot be achieved with today’s technology.” | mirabeau
