I think we need to get into perspective that not being ready or confident in moving to L3 doesn't mean that driver monitoring systems aren't needed. In fact they are essential in collecting the data needed to have confidence. Ford as an example have just recently signed a contract for DMS with SEE, and they are not going to L3 any time soon.

Like the Volvo article says ‘Drive Me’ project happens first. Which is something they are doing with smart eye , the mirror image and winners of Volvo affections imo

I think you're absolutely wrong above.
The share is in the tech sector which has fallen back of late as it reflects the general mood since FAANGS, and risk is off, at the moment.
Compared to many stocks this has done well in the last few days.

It is not company specific,in my opinion and has an 'effervescence' about it for me as there are so many changes going on in the auto industry that I for one am still excited to see what happens next.

I hope so Shallwe as I hold quite a lot of these "little beauties" more in hope than expectation!!Quite a few sellers in town today it seems too.

Unfortunately I think you've got the nail on the head. There is a general lack of trust in SEE at the moment but hopefully the new Chair will bring some better governance to the company because it really is a no-brainer stock.

Lots of suggestions that "good news" may be around the corner for this business-which would ordinarily move a share price forward in anticipation-but it's obvious that no-one now really trusts the company fully and real movement (if at all) will only occur if the company formally confirms that large new contracts have been secured and signed off.

That would be amazing, would explain a few things and will tie everything up very nicely. There is some phenomenal research done on this company by people on lse board and semicast, but seeing Machines have pulled a few surprises in the past that nobody had a clue about, the chip being one of them. Let's hope this is true.

I'm not sure this is a statement of fact, but certainly exciting if true, wraps up Guardian manufacturing and Toyota in one swoop.

Is SEE mentioned in the article ?
Quick glance didn't notice though can see it's relevant.

Good one.

' The report says Cadillac's Super Cruise does the best job of monitoring if drivers are paying attention when they take their hands off the steering wheels.'
