Paul McGlone, CEO of Seeing Machines, said: "As expected at the time of our last KPI announcement, we have seen strong growth return in our Q3 vs Q2 production volumes, and with over 744,000 units in Automotive production year to date, we can confidently expect our annual run rate to exceed 1 million this financial year and expand beyond that as more programs start production across our current won business. We've made good operational progress, with a particular highlight being the largest volume program won to date by Seeing Machines. This program also represents a technically challenging and groundbreaking technological solution, introducing the world's first interior cabin monitoring solution via a single camera system, which makes us very proud and reaffirms our status as a pioneer when it comes to innovation.
New, well documented safety regulations, led by Europe are driving demand across our Automotive and Aftermarket businesses, and we are tracking well with demonstrated growth as we help our tier 1 supplier and automotive manufacturer customers navigate this new territory. The safety and regulatory momentum that has continued to build across the globe is supporting increased long-term demand for the Company's differentiated DMS technology. |

Hiccups? Hiccoughs? Whatever. What has anything you have to say about DMS? With all due respect I think you are talking ADAS. It is not the ‘snowflakeR17; or ‘bramble’; causing problems with DMS - it iis causing problems with ADAS. If anything, the things you are clearly anxious about are mitigated by good DMS. DMS is required to counteract the poor decisions that ADAS make. Making sure the driver is aware to takeover is key. This is why, however good ADAS becomes, DMS will always be required.
Please research and understand the technology that is clearly going to be required (by law) in cars, trucks and buses to come. |
With new regulations and the hiccups that are happening with drivers monitoring system when driving your car is an increasing problem. I have a top of the range VW ID3 which likes to stick its breaks on if it sees a snowflake or a butterfly or even a bramble flapping from the edge. The emergency stop the car does can be quite off putting . If a person allows you to cross the road by flashing its lights the car just won't move. In the end it's better off not using the system. It's also not able to do cruise control on a motorway with ease. If a person comes in front of you the brakes pull you back to where it thinks is a safe space. The sudden breaking can off-put people behind. And putting cruise control with minor roads can be just as bad as it doesn't set the speed it keeps changing it to what the road will allow . For one minute you're driving at 30 the next 60 or even 70. You can't even use the prompt words as the car wants to recognize you talking to a person and but in every few minutes. It's a shame as the technology could be good if tweaked. I have tried taking my hands off the steering wheel which it should say please put your hands back on but it actually ignores that. So the system isn't working perfectly yet which the regulators might pick up on. |
Perhaps he knows something we don't?

Good news today,& viewed positively by Colin ,good news yesterday with Magna winning a prestigious award for their mirror DMS solution - so lets hope that the positive newsflow continues with better than expected KPIs,expected in the next day or 3 |
Oh compelling stuff . I'll mull further that RNS sounds good |
It will also be incorporated into in car entertainment systems. |
Not restricted to EV's. It will inhibit e.g. partying teenagers distracting the driver. |
Alch
It's the law |
Guys I'm well disposed to SEE but I'm looking two years after any in depth analysis. This is a pretty straightforward question the answer to which might see a modest re-entry . Modest means modest re-entry.Ok LiDAR Radar Speed etc why is passenger attention needed in EVs ? |
Well .... that adds a bit of confidence doesn't it ! |

All very quiet here, time to stop the malaise?

There is also a bit of press coverage: |
If correct Nvhitd the price would have to be above what some shareholders would agree to for instance -
Lombard Odier Asset Management holds 15.8% Federated Hermes, Inc. holds 9.01
All the 2 above purchase a few more shares to stop any Buyout because of the 25% rule between them.
Now if they agreed on any buyout it would have to be above what they bought.
Also, the CEO's Vested position probably would not be met as they were rolled over. Maybe that why he bought more on the open market.
Happy Investing |
Careful what you wish for. Now Paul has trashed the share price he sees fit to start buying. The more shares he owns at this level will only incentivise him to sell the company on the cheap. He'll have made a nice return if it ever gets back to 12p plus. Why wasn't he buying at 12p when he was telling investors 2 years ago about the inflection point, hundreds of thousands of PO'S for fleet and a 330 aircraft order about to drop?
He's simply preparing to sell up and get out ASAP. |
True Jpuff, you rarely can go wrong by following large director purchases |
